Edge Of Eternity Launches Kickstarter With Wii U Among Planned Console Releases

Midgar Studio has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for Edge of Eternity, a self-described “J-RPG with an old school turn-based combat system”. Although Edge of Eternity began its life as a project for smartphones, tablets, and PS Vita, Midgar Studio has since expanded its platform goal to all of the major next-gen consoles, with Wii U being among them. This dark 3D JRPG seems to be rather far along, with gameplay demos, maps, and soundtrack pieces all appearing on its Kickstarter page. Edge of Eternity needs to hit $200,000 of funding to meet its main goal. Will you be backing the title? Let us know in the comments.

  1. The combat system looks bare bones to me, I hope they do something to make it interesting. In games like the post nocturne Shin Megami Tensei games weakness exploiting is essencial to winning even normal battles, you constantly have to change tactics and find weaknesses which makes Turn based combat fun
