Wii Fit U Retail Release Delayed In Europe Until December 13

Nintendo UK has announced via Twitter this morning that the physical release for Wii Fit U has been delayed in Europe. For those who were planning on picking up the fitness game for Christmas, you’ll just have to push back your calendars another week until its release on December 13. However, fitness fanatics can access the digital version as a free trial from the Nintendo eShop, allowing you to maintain your goals for 31 days. Although the trial version ends on January 31, you can continue keeping fit by purchasing a Fit Meter and syncing it to the game, allowing you to keep the title indefinitely.

Physical boxed editions of Wii Fit U will come with a game disc and Fit Meter as one bundle, or consumers can opt for the second bundle which comes with disc, Fit Meter and a Wii Balance Board. Nintendo has not stated the reason behind the one-week European delay, though it will launch on the same day as the North American retail release. Have you tried Wii Fit U yet?
