                    1. Learn the definition of being a decent human being and having a responsability having the freedom you have…

The good thing about freedom of speech is that it allows you to speak your mind, however, it also defines who to avoid and throw into the trash…

      1. As annoying as he is, he has a right to express his opinions. You could try ignoring him if it bothers you that much.

    1. Ummm 343 well only make halo. But I can tell you as a hardcore gamer its not just about 1 system, or 1 game. I buy both Nintendo and Xbox, and certainly more then just casual fps games like halo or cod.

Another kiddy Dick Kong game lol and you bum Nintendrone virgins will eat it up lmao

        1. Xbox Commander sponsored by Doritos and Mountain Dew

Lmaooooo there are like 20+ DK games dont make me laugh any more you little virgin loser lol lol

          1. 5 main games, the other are weird spin offs, and most of them are released once every 5 years(to be honest, that should be a game rule, not to release games taht quick)

      1. I find it somewhat ironic that someone who calls themselves Xbox Commander would also somehow mention Dorritos and Mountain Dew, uh isn’t that part of the Neckbeard sterotype there pal?

    1. Metroid. It’s gotta be Metroid.

Also, I feel the SEGA team that did Sonic Racing Transformed could do F-Zero if Nintendo would outsource the iP. Or they could easily do Wave Racer or 1080 Snowboarding.

I would really like EAD Tokyo to make the next Star Fox game (because I’m one of the ones who wants to see Star Fox ON THE GROUND instead of in the air). Seeing as EAD made 3D World, I wouldn’t mind if they carried over some of what made that game special into the next Star Fox game….

I’m crazy, I know. But Star Fox could become a huge success that way.

  2. What kind of “talent” do they need to make another baby game? That all Nintendo does now is baby games. The one studio Nintendo has left who could have done something different they put to work on another baby game. What a waste of “talent”. Gone is the old Nintendo who was a much more diversified company who would put out all kinds of games for the ones who aren’t interested in all the baby games. When they had Rare, Silicon Knights, the great relationship with Factor 5, Left Field, etc. Now they have even turned Retro into another baby game maker. The brilliants in charge decided to sell all those 2nd party studios years ago, and decided to focus on the babies, grannies and casuals.

    1. and for some reason, Nintendo’s “baby games” are mostly nominated, as well as being some of the BEST games on the history

    2. Xbox Commander sponsored by Doritos and Mountain Dew

exactly lel and the nintendrones just eat it up cause there corporate cocksucker and shit lol! stupid nintendo bums!

    3. Babies can’t play video games. They don’t grasp the necessary understanding of what a video game is meant to accomplish. So in that regard, Donkey Kong is not meant for babies. It is meant for video gamers who like clever platforming games who’s main character is a gorilla.

    4. haha exactly. i bet they are hiring 4 more people to start working on another baby game *sigh*. because they have to sell wiiu to someone?? to no one.. or babies ^__^

          1. Yeah, he said market something to “babies.” But, that doesn’t work. You have to market to parents FOR their babies… DUHHHH!

    5. Many of the commenters like you have taken the career to become comedians, you should do the same ^^ How serious they can try to sound when they say something so pointless is hilarious <3 You'll do great for sure!

    6. I don’t get why people say Nintendo has lost their roots with were they were originally but then say they haven’t changes. Nintendo is exactly the same as they have been since their beginning, ya gotta deal with it

        1. Xbox Commander sponsored by Doritos and Mountain Dew

Nope gonna be more Donkey cause thats what the kiddies like lol! Iwata
is a money fag who rips offf his customers for quick cash lelelel!

  3. Xbox Commander sponsored by Doritos and Mountain Dew

gonna be donkey kong! gonna be donkey kong! gonna be donkey kong! gonna be

      1. Probably static so it wouldn’t matter. There needs to be a mute button so that even if he posts you can’t see it.

  4. It has to be metroid, but I was hoping they had a team working on this long ago. The prime series was amongst the best games ever.

      1. mass effect one of the highest rated games on metacritic. ME2 is 96 on metacritic. ME1 & 3 are 90. One of the best trilogy ever made, with very good universe. Just shitty ending :(

    1. /\ this…. Nintendo needs to stop feeding Zelda fans and focus on their other fan bases that have grown over the years… Star Fox, F Zero, Metroid, etc… its like Zelda and Mario are the only characters now…

      1. I see you completly ignored Kid Icarus, Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Paper Mario, and all the newly announced games like Kirby, Yoshi, Bayo2, X and SMTXFE that are coming out, but according to you, since YOURE favorite IP’s havent recieved a sequel, then nintendo is only making Mario and Zelda games. (-_-)

            1. I’m not talking about graphics, so just stop. I’m talking about gay ass kid games like mario, kirby, yoshi, pikmin. I’m not talking about difficulty levels either. I’m talking about gay ass characters I.e. mario in a fucking cat suit.

          1. Do you really own a Wii U? Because I do, and sure the graphics are kiddy, but they are also gorgeous graphics with perfect art style, and the gamplay of every game I’ve played on it so far has been a return to roots, at least for me.

I’m no longer worried about Wii U

        1. You completely misunderstand… u read off new ips and what i was saying is that they need to focus on their other beloved franchises. And its not MY favorite IP, as u can clearly see, everyone wants a new metroid, star fox, etc. They shouldnt kill iy off when so many people still enjoy it

    1. Miyamoto has one that isnt announced… but seeing Retro and how weak they have said they are (IN TERMS OF STAFF) its probably concept design for Metroid… but, if they chose to disregard fans pleads, then yeah, new IP… but i highly doubt theyd do that, from a business standpoint, ignoring your fans is shooting yourself in the foot, especially since we were disappointed to see their top secret game was DK

  5. Monolith Soft is hiring too. That would be great if they are working on a Metroid together. Imagine how huge the worlds would be

        1. Holy shit this is what people are stooping down to to get attention?

Sickr, you NEED to do something about this. We can deal with shithead trolls, but racist ones? NO ONE should have to deal with that.

        2. Pathetic bunch of apes thinking you are above others…

Humans are nothing more than slaves to the will of…

  6. With development of Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze coming to an end, I believe that Retro Studios is just beginning to start work on their next game (hence the hiring), which is likely Metroid. However, if the game is just beginning development, then we probably won’t see it at this year’s E3. Instead, we will likely have to wait until 2015 to see anything relating to Metroid, with a release date possibly into 2016 (these games take time). Again, this is only if production of the game is just now beginning. However, if the rumors are true about Retro being able to support 2 projects at the same time, then the game may have started development a while back (I somehow do not believe that Retro worked on DK for 3 solid years). If this is the case, then they likely made DK: Tropical Freeze to boost system sales (The original DK Country Returns did sell really well, after all). However, this is only speculation on my part.

  7. I won’t hope for Metroid because Nintendo’s taking a vacation from common sense… and Retro are apparently still tired of Metroid games.
They’ll release/work on whatever they think we want while ignoring our pleas for what we actually want. Happens all the time.

  8. It’s most likely for a new game, since DK is coming soon. Wouldn’t make sense to hire new people for a game just around the corner. The question is what are they working on? I want to see a new IP, but I’ll take Metroid and/or Star Fox as well.

  9. Maybe they are rushing a new Kong in the game?

But Nintendo really should start making announcements soon.
As it stands now, this year feels even more dry than 2013.
We have a solid release date only for one game.
