Today a digitally remastered soundtrack from the Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl video games was launched on iTunes by The Pokémon Company International. Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl: Super Music Collection features beautifully re-orchestrated music originally composed by Junichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose, and Morikazu Aoki.

When it launched in Europe and the US in 2007, Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl took Pokémon fans on an adventure across the Sinnoh region and introduced the world to the popular Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, plus more than 100 new Pokémon for Trainers to discover.

The Pokémon Company have been releasing other digitally remastered soundtracks under the Super Music Collection over the past months. So far, the collection includes soundtracks from:

    1. It’s honestly not all that necessary. The reason that the other two remakes were made is because most pokemon in Gen 1 and 2 weren’t available in Hoenn or Sinnoh. Thanks to Heartgold and Soulsilver (You can catch the Weather Trio and Eon Twins post game), Pokemon Black and White Two (Regi trio), Pokémon X and Y (Almost all of the Hoenn pokemon), we have access to every pokemon from Hoenn except for the two event Pokémon. All you would really get in a remake is enhanced graphics and I for one am not gonna spend $40 dollars just to see a 10 foot tall 3D Groudon.

      1. But, I wasn’t playing Pokemon in 3rd gen, so, it would allow me my first hoenn run…. And I don’t emulate…..
Also, I’m definitely not the only one who missed out on that region….
My first Pokemon game was diamond version, and even back then, RSE was impossible to find in my area…
Unless if you know an easier solution, I will keep bringing it up!!
And no, I’m not paying $ 10 for the gba version!!

        1. Because you want Nintendo to make and invest thousands of dollars into a full-blown remake of a unneeded game that is already cheaply obtainable on eBay, Amazon, and etc, all for some petty fanservice. Imo they should be focusing on building the future, not remaking the past.

          1. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see a 3D Hoenn region and what they would do with Dive and the legendary awakenings, but it’s impractical to make one at this point.
