US retail chain GameStop has announced that it will begin selling a special edition Peach Pink Nintendo 2DS console. Pre-orders for the device begin today for $129.99 and it comes with a free Disney Magical World-themed carrying case. Sadly it doesn’t come with a copy of the game, but it will be available alongside it on April 11th.

My niece already has a 3DS XL, but I think she’d like this.
She wont.. I bought a 2DS for my niece as a Christmas present and she told me she prefered the clamshell, and that it was to big.
It actually is, I dont see how this 2DS is supposed to be for kids when I as an adult feel the shoulder buttons are too far from the buttons.

To be honest, I kinda like the 2DS’s design. Maybe I should’ve gotten one.. I’ve got a 3DS XL and I’m loving it. The bigger screens and the 3D. But I think this looks pretty neat, too. It all just depends on who uses it. My brother might love this. Heh. (He’s 8.)

I like the color styling. I’ve thought about getting a 2DS honestly, but just not sure. Maybe if I get this job I’ll get it, why not? It seems like it’d be comfortable to play on.

That’s probably accurate, to a certain extent. I think they’re for everyone, and I also think that people do happen to enjoy it even if it’s not for them. Everyone at this point is entitled to think whatever they want, unless it’s illegal.

Even if it did come with a copy of the game, it would just be a stupid digital download code anyways. So big deal! No problem with me.
I bought a 3ds when it first debuted, I used the 3d feature only a handful of times and never got into it really. When the 2ds came out I sold my 3ds almost immediately and bought a 2ds because it looked comfortable. I can say that it’s not for everyone but it’s definitely for me. It has a nice grip, the material isn’t slippery when my hands get clammy, buttons are placed smartly and the shoulder buttons are some of the best I have used on any handheld. I’m glad I made the switch.
