Circana, which tracks video game software and hardware across the United States, has said that the Nintendo Switch 2 ends its first year at nearly 6 million units sold. Nintendo’s latest system has sold over 5.9 million units in the United States alone and is now the second fastest-selling video game system. Circana also reports that the Nintendo Switch 2 was again the best-selling hardware platform in both units and dollars for May 2026.
