There Won’t Be Any Wii U Or Nintendo 3DS Games From Ubisoft At E3 2014

Ubisoft has confirmed that it won’t be showing off or announcing any games for Nintendo platforms at next month’s E3 event. The games that have recently been announced by the company including Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed Unity are all skipping the system. Whether this means there’s no more Wii U support from Ubisoft in the future remains to be seen.

“We won’t be showing off any Nintendo games at E3 this year,” a Ubisoft representative said.

    1. So you hate a company for not porting games onto a system of your choice? When the system itself is on life support, almost dead in the water. I know its tough seeing your favorite thing get shit upon by everybody else just buy a second system like the rest of the gaming world.

      1. What !!!! No!! Never !!!No support to other sistems neither ubisoft anymore from me! I love nintendo and ill play only whatever Nintendo can offer to me period. And one more thing, ill sell all my ubisoft games at 99c ;) that’s the real value of their games !!!

        1. I still like Ubisoft. They have heart….they just had to make the tough calls. It’s like how I stopped shopping at KB Toys when they were going out of business. It was emotional, but I knew that they were going under no matter what I did

      2. it’s one thing not releasing any games

but getting people’s hopes up then continuously disappoint them is a reason to be angry at a company for yes

        1. you talking about nintendo, cause it sounds JUST like what nintendo has done with the wii u

      3. Yeah. Delaying a completed Wii U version of Rayman Legends at the point when the console was selling great, like 3+ million in the first 10-14 weeks, then releasing all versions for the intended PS3/360 target too close to GTA5 where all those target audiences flocked

And now delaying Watchdogs for unknown but probably obvious reasons to shift away from Wii U when Rayman Legends there did sold the most after all of that 9 month delay BS they pulled and this is how they repay the fans?

And worse, blind fools like you have the utterly fucked up nerve to blame the system alone for them turning away when 1. The real reason 3rd parties bitched for two years over Wii U hardware is not its weak specs but the customization which equals to more time and work to understand it; that’s why they’re whining because they hate working hard to make quality games instead of yearly rehash piles of DLC shit. 2. The other real reason why Nintendo fans aren’t buying their games anymore because year after year they pull this BS run of excuses to gimp and lazily port games that everyone already had elsewhere in advance to Nintendo systems.

And what’s also odd is the 3DS is the dominate console of the current gen and these 3rd parties aren’t capitalizing that opportunity to sell more games in that install base so shouldn’t that mean something besides “Nintendo sucks at this, Nintendo rehashes that” crap?

Do you people seriously wish for Nintendo; the fucking savior and definition of the gaming business that established and brought many new innovations and competition in the mix, to fall that badly so you can take the rest of the market down with them? God you people are just so un-fucking-belivable. It shouldn’t take a half brain monkey to figure this out.

Sorry I had to get defensive and yes I do know Nintendo messes up on occasions but when it comes to third parties, I see them as selfish and lazy opportunists with lack of ideas.

        1. Of the Wii U games I have and have played, a good majority are Ubisoft games, including games such as ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, and Splinter Cell Blacklist. I intend to play the Wii U version of Watch Dogs too. My point is that this publisher has basically been more supportive of the Wii U than Nintendo itself. It sucks that they have nothing to show at E3 because they have been one of the best and only third-party publishers that Nintendo has had. Maybe Rayman was delayed and maybe Blacklist was a lackluster port, but at least they released games for the system.

        2. well said. I have given the same speech many times to trolls on several sites. It’s a losing battle. The xbots and sony fans never played Nintendo. They first started gaming when they were 13 and PS and Xbox were the rage with the ‘cool’ kids. Maybe when these fools get older and have children and want to experience gaming with them they’ll come around and realize what they have been missing. Then again, going by their posts, they’ll probably push AC15, COD Black Warfare 12 on them instead

          1. It would make sense, but awhile ago, I was at Gorilla Games, and I saw a father and his (let’s just say 10 year old) boy and girl. And he bought GTA for them… And this parent wasn’t unaware of the game’s content, but he still bought it for his children… Yeah, some people are just stupid about what they let their kids play…

      4. Life support?! What really matters here is that they are making games for PS4 with an install base of only about 1.5-2 million more units than the Wii U has and also for an Xbox One that has probably sold even less than Wii U.

You can cut the BS of “they have been out for only six months” because as the way things are today Wii U has roughly the same install base as other current gen consoles. That excuse was only valid when comparing to the 80 plus million units of PS3 and XB360…

        1. The wiiu has been out for over a year. Nintendo is doing the same thing. How will you damage control that?

          1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Nobody is damage controlling that part anymore, what makes me mad is that everybody blames our empire when more than half of the situation was caused by these Third Class Empires…

        2. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

It wasn’t even valid back then, why would any smart gamer compare a current generation machine to outdated ones?…

    2. i love Ubisoft for this. Ubisoft good job right there, bringing all your games to PS4 and the gorgeous Vita system. You won’t regret it. :)
-PlayStation the KING of the gaming since 1994.-

      1. My PC still ass stomps your underpowered PCs.
-PC the KING of gaming before Playstation existed and still going-

        1. Yeah haha that’s the thing. Any interesting game that comes out for Xbox/PS4 normally finds it’s way to PC. Wii U + PC combo is the best imo!

          1. Your opinion isn’t an opinion. Its a fact, PC + Wii U = Current Gen Ultimate Combination.

              1. The truth hurts. True story, denial only makes it unbearably painful to bare than just accepting it.

Denial = It’ll be on you mind constantly and its angering to think about.

Acceptance = You hate the truth, but you get over it easier and enjoy more to life.

                  1. Truth is, you have an excellent observation and have a good, if not great taste in games as well as smart compared to butthurt complainer who called you “trash”.

                    1. “and am narcissistic as fuck” hahahah, you piece of shit, go have a good taste in games somewhere else

                    2. Aww look everyone I’m mad and butthurt that I was never complimented for my horrible tastes and being butthurt.

    3. good, ubisoft is making the right decision…until nintedno gets serious themselves no one will support their consoles

        1. Just like 3rd parties changed their mind after Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, and Donkey Kong Returns…..

          1. well, THOSE were a bit different… There hasn’t been such a big hype for a game in awhile (that I’ve seen) like the hype for Smash 4.

            1. There was hype for the new Mario and DK. Regardless, if a system is relying on a select few games to turn the system around, then there are bigger things to worry about. Nintendo can’t keep relying on just their first-party games to save the Wii U.

              1. Yeah, but not as much hype. Only real people who cared about Mario and DK were people who already had/were planning on buying a Wii U. But Smash has tons of people who don’t have a Wii U, and before this had never had interest in a Wii U.

I’m not saying that it will single-handily save the Wii U, I’m not even saying it will sell well. (But come on, it’s Smash Brothers) I’m just saying that I think that it’ll help bring back interest for third-parties.

                Fingers crossed!

              2. And Sony and Microsoft can’t keep relying on 3rd parties to bail they’re asses.
You see, take out First party, Nintendo has nothing going for them, the other two are quite the opposite, and they are screwed without 3rd party, especially Microsoft, Sony can do okay, but they’re exclusives are decent at best, sure there is the occasionally great game, but other than that, they won’t last long. So technically what you mean is “If you continue doing the same thing, you will fail eventually”, therefore meaning they will all fail.

                1. I actually agree with my fan here, except for the part where sony has decent exclusives…they probably have better exclusives than nintedno, nintendo’s exclusives are just much more well known and used to be revolutionary, microsoft has too few exclusive franchises and should make more, also, nintendo has been doing the same shit for a decate now, people are tired of their shit

                  1. And in the end my stupid side of my personality always has no idea what he’s talking about other than his butthurt.

                  2. Nintendo has been doing the same thing for the past decades and people are tired of they’re shit, yet ironically people still go and buy them? Lol, you are just like Fox News always talking shit out of they’re ass and being biased idiots.
Truth is people are tired of Mircosoft pulling bullshit especially with that DRM terrorist device.

                2. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

It’s this fact that really stings the Nintendo haters. If Nintendo loses all 3rd party support, they still have their great 1st party titles to keep them afloat. If Sony & Microsoft lose all 3rd party support, you might as well just use their PS4/XB1 for their DVD/CD player functions & computer functions. In which case, you might as well just buy an actual computer since you’ll have tons more stuff you can do with it. But least XB1 will have a few 1st party titles every year from Rare. I don’t know how the PS4 would survive, though.

                  1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

That’s why they both pay them large amount of resources…

Our empire doesn’t need cheap tactics to sell theirs…

                    1. Yep, and it is me who is the real one. Now shoo fraud shoo, your attempt at identity theft has failed.

          1. Đonko loves to pull down his pants and get fucked by old men in a corner with some Trisomy 21 in the stomach.

      1. Right. Making the right decision with Rayman Legends which blew up in their own face and delaying Watchdogs out of cowardness to compete Mario Kart 8.

You’re right about them making right decisions but only to make themselves look like a company two-faced, retarded assclowns only EA would repsect.

        1. Exactly! I have no clue what I’m talking about, just like those Fox News guys you hate so much.

    4. I hear you. I actually would have bought Watchdogs for Wii U just to say thank you Ubisoft (not a game I’d ever even play). Forget that now.

    5. yeep, i feel the same.
i love them for zombie u, and hate them because there where a lot of bucks, but then they made a few patches for it. thx.
zombie u and tlou was the experience of gaming for me the last 5 years.
this 2 games show me that i still like gaming.
i hope watch dogs is comming.
      i dont need AC.

        1. I recetly saw a brand new copy of ZombiU sell for only $11.00. How can a brand new Wii U game sell so cheap? Still not as cheap as when I bought NintendoLand though. I bought that for only $7.49 at Gamestop.

          1. because of poor Wii U sales, I guess. And since ZombiU is one of the oldest Wii U games. As much as I hate the Wii U selling poorly, it’s nice to get really nice games for cheap, haha

            1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Or the game was plagued with glitches so it sold for cheap because the game was cheaply made.

                1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

I’ve heard it’s bad with glitches. Even if it’s just a few bad discs that are floating out there, I’m worried about paying the full price for a new one in the worst case scenario that I buy one of the shitty discs. Harvest Moon: Animal Parade has a game breaking glitch that only some people who own the game have come across.

      1. Agreed. ZombiU is an excellent game and we don’t need AC.
        AC4 just sucks, sold mine last month, i even didnt finish it. Hated most of the games is in a ship;

        1. What are you smoking? Assassin’s Creed IV was SUPER FUN! In fact, I wanted to cry when I finished it because I didn’t want it to end. It was SO addicting (aside from the horribly boring real-time sequences). Ubisoft has lost my respect as fast as they gained it.

    6. @ Hopper2004,
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I LOVE the Assassin’s Creed series. A.C. III and IV were the first I ever played in the series, and first third-party games that I liked since Resident Evil 4. And now that Ubisoft is going all douchy and refusing to bring the next Assassin’s Creed games to Wii U, I feel I’m forced to go back to hating them. There’s no way that I’m going to buy a Crapbox or Gaystation just to play these games. : /

        1. I can’t help it. Xbox and Playstation consoles never made me happy like Nintendo’s has. So I have a habit of bashing them. I’ve always regretted causing my mom to spend SO much money on the original Xbox back when it first came out. Ever since then, I never cared about the Xbox brand. And I only had fun for a very short time on my PS2.

    7. You can’t hate them for a practical business decision… Wii u made up less than 3% of their total sales. As much as I want to play the crew and ac unity (for that matter, arkham knight and madden 15), I don’t hate the companies for making the (unfortunately) right decision

  1. pink0crystal0midbus

Well they didn’t get any support from the Wii U install base and the Wii U itself is a disaster so who can blame them?

Ubisoft tried more than any other 3rd party developer.

    1. Totally agree. I loved all the games people called “broken ports” or “half assed.”

Given the huge amount of fanrage and WiiU not really making anyone money, I don’t blame them. I’ll miss Ubi even though I know I’m only one of the few. :/

      1. pink0crystal0midbus

I know, Nintendo fanboys can be such morons. They think Ubisoft is “required” to take a loss and be honored their games on the Wii U even though the console’s sales are horrific.

Ubisoft doesn’t owe Nintendo jack squat, if anything Nintendo owes them and should be honored that Ubisoft risked their development time and money to try making games for the Wii U.

Nintendo fans should be praising Ubisoft and thanking them for their efforts and crying their eyes out that Ubisoft just can’t do it any longer.

        1. I have played ZombiU 3+ times (and have a blast with local multiplayer) AC4 Is like a Pirates GTA, Child of Light is breathtaking, Splinter Cell Campaign Mode was remarkably better than COD multiplayer (way more content) — Yes, SplinterCell Multiplayer sucked for those that used it, and Yes, they really fucked up with the Rayman thing, but it’s Nothing compared to the delays and lack of games Nintendo inflicts on it’s fans.

I just hope E3 will get Nintendo pointed the right direction.

        2. You forget, delaying Rayman when Wii U was selling better help make Wii U take a huge hit in many ways and even Ubisoft fucked Rayman Legends sales themselves by moving it away just to lose their target audience to GTA5.

So you’re blaming the fanbase for that when it pissed everyone on Wii U side off to begin with? You really are a smart one. B|

          1. pink0crystal0midbus

Ubisoft made one mistake and Nintendo fans got ballistic. It’s annoying… Ubisoft is allowed to make mistakes, and they have done more than necessary regarding the Wii U.

Even with the Rayman fiasco, Nintendo fans should feel GREATFUL that Ubisoft even dared to show us their support.

            1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

A mistake they didn’t learn from as they delayed Watch_Dogs for Wii U, too. And yeah, yeah. It was a great business decision. Only time will tell if it truly was a great business decision, though, since I’m sure some people thought the same about Rayman Legends getting delayed till it got creamed by GTA5. But what we know for certain about the decision is that it was a very immoral one. What would have been the harm in the other ports coming late as they gave equal time to the Wii U version? The only harm I see in that is maybe, just maybe, the Wii U version was going to be the best version & it was going to crush the other console’s versions’ sales as many people flocked to the Wii U for the best version. Who knows, though. Maybe the delay won’t keep the Wii U’s version from selling the best. Maybe it will be the system seller to help the Wii U sell millions of consoles. But I doubt it. I highly doubt it. Maybe Watch_Dogs for Wii U will prove me wrong. I’d love for it to prove me wrong. Just have to wait & see.

      2. If you want Ubisoft watch dogs is a perfect opportunity call of duty is coming skylanders is coming just dance is coming project cars is coming I don’t understand we are getting plenty of 3rd party and sonic boom with mario kart 8 hyrule warriors smash bros x bayonetta all coming this year why complain

        1. “Is coming, Is coming, Is coming.”
I’m so fucking sick of those words, no offense. And how many of those games are Ubisoft? A few. So they still maintain being WiiU’s strongest supporter, along with Indie game devs.

      3. Delaying Rayamn Legends at a point when Wii U was selling great and could’ve benefit each other if it did release with Wii U first but they screwed themselves and Wii U to perform horribly and yet they don’t care.

Either you noticed or not, Ubisoft has now become the next EA and they’re on my shitlist from this point forward.

        1. pink0crystal0midbus

They are not even close to being the next EA. Again, you are judging a lifetime of a game company by a single mistake they made… get a grip! It wasn’t even that big of a deal lol! It would have sold a little bit more on the Wii U (an already failing console anyway) and if they took a hit, well that’s their problem, not yours.

Holding a grudge against Ubisoft because of the Rayman thing is beyond stupidity.

          1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

It’s not just about Rayman, it’s because of that incident, the Ubisoftians are now hoding on to an excuse that we don’t care about their games…

Even I who never liked Rayman in the first place wanted to buy that game when I buy my Wii U but since they just screwed us not just by delaying it, but also making it multiplatform despite it being exclusive for 1 year and then blaming us for the lack of support…

            No thank you…

    2. This is bad. I’d better start saving up immediately for a second system now. Ubisoft has some of the best games ever. I’m not gonna just let them leave me like this. I wish Nintendo fans would’ve just supported them more. Now we all have to suffer. And yes, they tried, but no one bought their games. 3rd party devs jumped ship. I’m not jumping ship from my Wii U as I plan to keep it and use another system, but for Wii U only users, this is HORRIBLE.

      1. This is not horrible this means that this is going to be the best Nintendo system with the best Nintendo games and why are so many forgetting skylanders just dance call of duty watch dogs and project cars all come out this year along with sonic boom lol so many morons unbelievable

    3. They didn’t do anything outside of Rayman Legends to make their titles more preferable on Wii U than another console. Half the Wii U owners own another console. If I was in that boat, do you think I’d buy a half-assed product for my Wii U? No, I’d buy it for my PS3 or Xbox 360. Wii U owners who don’t own another console are probably like me and don’t really even want some of their products. Glad I don’t have to buy another Just Dance this year!

    1. All 3rd party devs have completely jumped ship from the nintendo Wii U and are NOT interested in porting their games onto the system. If anything the Wii U has totally damaged Nintendos reputation. If Nintendo release another home system they will have to pay 3rd party devs to put their games onto their system. they will avoid it like the plague

    2. Nintendo is in it’s own world, it will stand own merit. They never wanted to compete with the Big Two. Capcom tends to make products that Nintendo users like.

    3. Since when they supported Nintendo? Capcom pretty much ruined themselves and there’s no RE6 for Wii U launch or Ultra SF4 port in sight so, where’s their support at?

At this point, I could care less if 3rd party support is gone. They’re fucking lazy and greedy nowadays and I’m not wasting monwy for those bastards to keep up with their dumbass gimping, late ports and DLC scams.

      1. Ubisoft is now on my shitlist of 3rd party garbages.

No matter how you idiots see it, this was all their doing as their cowardly means to say “we’re not supporting you anymore because…”. Nintendo Wii U being weak, sales sucking or fanbase not buying their late, gimped garbage ports is all their fault alone for not taking chances with Wii U from the beginning and growing the fuck up to be creative and take risks for once. Now its all about the easy way out for them.

I’m done. No more 3rd party trash until they get their lazy, greedy asses in gear and learn how to work hard and meaningful to make better fucking quality video games. Nothing but realistic, interactive hollywood movies on a DLC disc. Give me a fucking break…

  2. Sad to see this happen. Nintendo better rock this E3, there the only ones supporting themselves now. Maybe once the sales of the Wii U go up, if they do, third party developers will catch on.

  3. I have to ask, if you wanted to play Ubisoft games, why buy a Wii U? I personally think that Ubisoft games are mostly horrible (with the exception being Rayman Origins and Legends, which did make it to Nintendo consoles) so I was quite happy to buy a Wii U. If I wanted to play other Ubisoft games, I’d use my PC. I don’t so it’s fine.

I presume you, like I, bought your Wii U for Nintendo games. Those are coming.

    1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Apperantly there are some retards out there and some even in here that bought a Wii U for non Nintendo games…

      Logic has been lost…

      1. Not exactly, Nintendo Commander. Nintendo promised Wii U would be successful with 3rd parties and have tons of games. But now almost all 3rd party is gone and Nintendo can’t fill the gap because it’s taking years for them to release their own games. I got a Wii U with the promise of third party and got stabbed in the back by their lies. I by Nintendo games all the time, but there are other games I want to play too.

        1. The opportunity was always there from the start but they turned away because they’re too lazy to work with Wii U’s tech and then try to BS about it to hurt them back. For example: EA. Why they turned? Because Nintendo said no to that disease Origin after figuring out it wasnt good for the fans and system and EA lost their minds. Now Ubisoft turning away because they originality fucked their credibility with Nintendo fans because of Rayman Legends debacle by delaying a completed game at the time when Wii U was selling just fine and now with Watchdogs near the eve of MK8 which will skyrocket Wii U but they blame the fanbase instead for THEIR hypocritcal mistakes.

Capcom..well, nobody likes them anymore for killing Megaman and ruining Street Fighter and Resident Evil.

Its all too easy to figure it out why Wii U’s popularity is shot and the real cause of 3rd parties betrayal and the truth is in the opposite direction you’re looking at people.

        2. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

They haven’t truly broken their promise of 3rd party support. It’s got tons of 3rd party support. The indie developers say hi. It’s not the 3rd party support YOU wanted, but it’s 3rd party support none the less. So promise=not broken.

      2. Go watch Nintendo’s E3 2012, that’s why most of us bought a Wii U….

Because we thought this was going to be the killing machine, where I could play Mario Kart and Battlefield in the same console, the console that had so much 3rd party support that was unbelievable to think all the kinds of games that would be available. Because it was going to be the console with all the multi plat games AND Nintendo exclusives: which made it the best thing ever created by mankind.

But no….. Nintendo lied: there was no support from 3rd parties, and there’s no support even from themselves! That’s why we bought a Wii U, because it was going to be the “all-in-one” console… But now even Nintendo doesn’t know what the hell to do with it….

        1. You pretty much summed it all up perfectly! Seriously, who bought a Wii U thinking “Wow! I can’t wait to play Zelda and Starfox 2 years from now!”? No one.

        2. Indies are third party, doesn’t matter if they are not the big third parties, they are still third party. Most of your entire argument has fallen apart.

    2. I disagree. ZombiU was the best Survival Horror since Crapcom fucked up Resident Evil. AC4 is fun for it’s naval battles along. Child of Light is outstanding. And Oh. Maybe I bought a wiiU because Nintendo PROMISED 3RD PARTY SUPPORT and flashed Bayo2 and X in front of us saying “See, we’re hardcore! Don’t worry!” Two goddamn years later, I MIGHT see those games.

      1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Further more, when it comes to story and emotions, it beats the crap out of Man of Steel…

The only 2 things Man of Steel does right is the action and Faora…

Zod was the worst crap ever…

Any Zod is better than Shannons…

  4. I still don’t undertsnad how they didn’t even make new gamesFOR THE 45 MILLION INSTALL BASE!!!!!!

they have slowly been annoying me, now I dislike ubisoft, unfortunately. Some good games though….

    1. And why delay Rayman, a completed game, from Wii U while it sold more than 3 million by Christmas over some skepticistic fear of flopping whem 3 million at that time was fine enough to take a dive and knowing the Wii U fans was gonna buy the system for that game?

EA in butthurt rage mode over Origin denial plus Ubisoft backing off Rayman for nothing along with other BS Wii U specs talks that got debunked later on help brought Wii U to its lowest during its 2013 Spring sales and it may seem Nintendo is the only one who can bring it back up.

It enrages me seeing all of this happening and so many idiots are saying the opposite without opening their eyes.

      1. I know look at how stupid gamers gotten, it went straight from great to instantly the worse it can be when ps3 and xbox 360. The worse systems to spawn the worst fanboys, now it’s a new generation, they’re going to get even worse, like that the stupid ass butthurt identity thief of mine who exaggerates and complains too much.

  5. Wait? So Dance 15 comes out in Oct 2014. They are dumb if they don’t even put just dance on Wii U. Sorry AC was good but a new game every year? Sure there are a lot of Mario games out there but at least they are spaced out. Goodness

  6. I love Nintendo! But it seems to me that the Wii is dead after this announcement.
No EA, UBI no, it’s not good for a Nintendo console.
Let’s face or Zelda Wii U will not be able to fix it.I think this is the end of the Wii U console, but a home console and Nintendo.
They will once again try to create a home console but will be a greater disaster than the Wii U.
All players have now lost their eyelids to Nintendo, who will believe that they will get the 3rd game on the new console, no. :-((

    1. It’s the end? The 3 games that I mainly bought the Wii U for, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Zelda are still to come, along with Bayonetta 2 and the very promising X. Maybe Wii U is over for you, but it isn’t for me.

      1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Same. I’m still waiting for Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Zelda U, the eventual 3D Mario game, X, Bayonetta, SMTxFE, and any future titles they have in the works for the Wii U. So this console isn’t dead for me till Nintendo says it’s dead.

      2. Yes, the one game I bought the system, Bayonetta 2 is still coming.
And after I get my hands on I will never lay off the gamepad.
Though I have to, when ever I can play it on the TV with pro controller, so that I wont wear my gamepad out.

  7. Nintendo don’t need you Ubi, so it doesn’t matter anyway…..Nintendo is know the right time to bring all youre IP’s, then sayyy fuck you thirdparty’s….

    1. No one can say fuck UBI, fuck EA when the Wii U will cost $ 300, because the crisis in the world and not everyone can have two consoles. If you should choose what you choose PS4 with 10,000 games or Wii with 100 games, hand on heart PS4, right. And to be honest we all like to play Fifu, Far Cry etc..

        1. PS4 Had a bigger Hype Train. When it runs out of fuel, and if they still don’t have games, they’re just as fucked or worse. ;)

          1. Already the hype train is winding down as people are learning that both PS4/One aren’t as powerful as they thought.

If they’re so powerful, why 3rd parties are still struggling to max out both techs and more importantly, how come Wii U with MK8 is the first of the 8th gen to pull off native 1080p at 60FPS despite how the game looks?

Everybody is making/buying consoles/games just for power and I must say its the most short sighted reason to do so.

      1. People freaking out over this utterly redicous the 3ds did not turn around because of ubisoft or ea its all on Nintendo u dont buy a Nintendo console for 3rd party plus the line up is dtacked watch dogs is coming so is project cars just dance skylanders and cod why are u guys crying

        1. Sorry my friend… We are WAY past a 3DS resurrection. Do you see an ambasidor program? Did Nintendo right-the-rudder a few months after sales dropped? No. They did not. They let things degrade. The 3DS was life-flighted back into the game industry, WiiU was left for dead, Now they will try to use lightning to bring it to life.

This is just a bad subject for me. I obviously resent Nintendo for screwing me over again.

  8. either they have postponed their support to nintendo or they have some games for the nintendo consoles and claim they are not making any games for them and pull a gamefreak (ruby/sappjire remakes, they claimed they are not working on one and they pulled a fast one by announcing them and they kept it hush-hush until they thought they were ready to announce them)

    1. Uh, no. That’s not how it works. When third parties say they aren’t developing for Wii U, they mean it. Gamefreak knows damn well that they’re gonna make millions off Gen 3 remake but third parties know FOR SURE that they won’t make any money on the Wii U. So they pulled support. Nintendo fanboys never buy Ubisoft games anyway so why does it matter now that they have pulled support?

    1. do not be a jerk, I love Nintendo!
UBI doing fabulous games, starting A.C.4!
You are most to blame yourself because you are not buying a 3rd game!

      1. I don’t care about 3rd party games lol i just want nintendo games thats why i have a wii u, the wii u wont sell more with 3rd party games it just needs more exclusives to come out sooner

  9. That doesn’t mean that Nintendo won’t be showing off a Ubisoft game.
Maybe a new IP or ZombiU 2.

    1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Considering the Ubisoftian Emperor said last year that ZombiU is off the table, it’s highly unlikely…

  10. Its sad anyone wants to support ea and ubi they are killing gaming they are fuckin gross nothing but pc ports to consoles. .. and thats fucking gross. Dktf pikmin3 3dmario smash mk8 will all be better that anything these two companies have come out with ever.

    1. finally someone who understands.. these ubisoft/Ea games are just over hyped trash.. that doesn’t last more than a couple of months than dies out. Nintendo games will always be played many years after there release

      1. it’s you, maybe the rest of the players but I do not want to just Nintendo games!
With whom will play SSB, M.K8 if players will buy the Wii U, so that’s it!
I for example tekkan play on the Wii U and the weak support once have anyone to play with. Is now you come out of your ass in the head!

    2. it’s you, but the rest of the players do not want to just Nintendo games!
With whom will play SSB, M.K8 if players will buy the Wii U, so that’s it!
I play tekkan the Wii U and the weak support once have anyone to play with. Is now you come out of your ass in the head!

    3. Finally somebody gets it. I see Ubisoft is becoming another EA.

Ditching Wii U, lying about having optimism/healthy partnership for Nintendo/Wii U/fans, turning their games into COD-like yearly spams and acting so cocky about selling many games at a specific timeframe and fail.

Yup. Ubisoft = EA of UK and fuck both of them and their rushed DLC garbage.

      1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

        Ubisoft = EA of France/UK/Sweden…

Maybe I need to pay a visit to Ubisoft Massive facilities…

  11. It’s been known for a while that Wii U’s third party support is weak, and will continue to be weakened so long as PS4 and XboxOne are in the market. This news about Ubisoft should not come as a complete shock. The power difference in hardware is not huge, but the Wii U is architecturally different enough compared to the competition that it isn’t worth the effort (development and cost) for most developers to port games onto the system. The PS4 and Xbone can also have more things going on in the screen than the Wii U, such as the case with the new riot system, which is why Arkham Knight won’t be ported. Nintendo took a risk in R&D in developing this system and it did not pay off for them, especially in terms of wooing third parties.

    1. The thing that is troublesome is before the Wii U and other than the controller, they went to the 3rd parties they worked with and talked to them what they would want in a system and this is what they got.

      1. Thing is third parties would have to put all their resources in figuring out not only the Wii U’s architecture, but also how to make a game around implementing the GamePad. There’s more to it than just laziness. It’s a full on investment to make use of the Wii U’s hardware, and why do that when you have two other systems that hardware wise are similar, have standard controllers and set ups, and are more powerful? Even before the competition started at the end of last year, where Wii U was the only system in the market, third parties weren’t too keen on using the system when they knew PS4 and Xbone were on the horizon and Nintendo wasn’t giving them a whole lot of creative freedom. .

        1. I know they are going to do what is easiest, and I don’t think this is out of spite with specifically to the Wii U. But I think they are just looking at it like a company that is in recession or a company looking to cut employees or very strapped for resources. I think the who can port directly from computers, x86 stuff has a lot more to do with it and rewriting engine code, than power of system for skipping the Wii U.

My point was they new about GamePad very early on was shown just as it is to UBI, EA, Capcom and a few other. They asked what kind of processor and how powerful a system by Nintendo and they were all pretty ok with it.

That said, I think they UBI has done a horrible job of supporting the Wii U when they have (and to some extent the 3DS), basically cause they have either cut themselves off at the knees with practices that alienate the customer (i.e. Rayman coming late after the build up as exclusive and with free advertising from Nintendo or the difficulty to find copies of Tom Clancy in local store, or missing features). Or just plain bad decisions, not getting Rayman out by Christmas with game display everywhere or using Zombi U has determining factor for who games are going to sell to families during Christmas. It just a textbook case of what not to do.

  12. Its been like that since summer of last year, not saying games weren’t being released. They just have been finishing up legacy projects to stem losses.

Oh well for now, can’t say I am missing you on 3DS. When they release a game on the system on I own, I will consider buying it, otherwise oh well there a bunch of games that I can buy already.

    1. That’s right! What ever. Nintendo is defining itself right now, and now’s the time to be a Nintendo owner. Now I can save my money for the games I really want.

  13. As always, Ubisoft can eat a sack of phalluses… of which they can buy plenty with all that money from the nine Assassin’s Creed spinoffs in the past year.

  14. Then I hope this site stops posting news about games announced by Ubisoft that aren’t coming to a Nintendo console. I bet this site will post every game shown in E3 that won’t come to Wii U and even PS4 or Xbox exclusives! LOL! XD

  15. I almost bought Watchdogs for Wii U just to say thanks for hanging in there for us. Thank you for saving me $60.00 Ubisoft!

  16. Ubisoft doesnt really have much that would interest me, except for maybe a ZombiU2, but that would require a creative effort and they would have to focus on, dare I say it, a FUN game.

    1. And they make great titles when they actually put that creative effort into it. Rayman Legends is one of those shining examples. Too bad they ditched its exclusivity. Nothing like Murphy on the gamepad! They simply won’t have a title worth buying without that creative effort anyway. So no real loss here until they do just that.

    1. Watchdogs was probably going to be a crappy port of another boring AAA game that I would have bought just to say thanks. Agreed as above photonth.

    2. I was considering that game to be their last chance of redemption but they choose to be deceiving and stupid towards Nintendo fambase from the start and so we’re giving them the bird and when Wii U resurrects and goes against PS4, we’ll see if Ubisoft will come back bitching and crying at our feet for another shot they’ll likely throw away later regardless.

  17. Well, it looks like almost all support is gone. Ubisoft was the biggest Wii U supporter and you guys just had to fuck it up, didn’t you? You all gave criticism to Ubi for Assassin’s Creed which you claim is “half assed” yet AC4 runs beautifully on Wii U. You would’ve known this if you actually bought the game instead of talking out of your ass. Ubisoft has had enough of that shit and decided “Well fuck you too, Nintendo fanboys”. And they pulled the plug. At least they gave you ungrateful morons Watch Dogs as a goodbye gift. Hell, they even extended time to work on just that version alone! And you still complain… Seriously how many excuses are there to come up with? There are barely even any Wii U games worth playing. You’d rather play the waiting game than pick up one of Ubisoft’s games? Nonsense. You deserve this. Tons of developers tried to support Wii U and you all gave them the bird. Especially EA. Wow man. You didn’t even buy NFS MW (which is actually a really good game) That could’ve been your chance to get more EA games. Seriously. Bitching about the release date? Why? They could’ve ported over Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, BF4, NFS Rivals, maybe even Titanfall! Nope, that’s gone. Not even Capcom cares anymore. The only reason they even still make Moster Hunter and such is because they make tremendous amounts of money off of it. Just look at poor MH3U Wii U. They gave up on porting 4 already. And they won’t port Street Fighter IV either. Tekken died a horrible death on Wii U even though they gave it a chance. No wonder Nintendo didn’t get any other Tekkens… I am so angry right now that such a huge supporter like Ubisoft has left. It’s bullshit. I’m not selling my Wii U because what’s the point? I’d probably get like $100 for the damn thing. Nintendo has all this damn cash, yet each time, they go the cheap route. Wii U could have been as powerful as a goddamn $2000 gaming rig if Ninty wanted it to. But no. They do the direct opposite. And now they PAY FOR THIS. Graphics DO fucking matter. Even Mario Kart 8 proves this. Enough of my rambling. Go ahead and flame the hell out if me. I don’t give a fuck.

    1. Nope, you’re pretty spot on. Ubisoft was one of the Wii U’s best supporters, but they didn’t get the support back. It’s a shame, really.

      1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

At the same time they were betraying us…

They started the betrayal first with Rayman…

And then they had the nerve to say ZombiU didn’t sell well…

670000 units is not bad, it’s infact pretty good considering the low install base…

      2. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

I will only buy ZombiU next month (At a very cheap price) because it was the last game before they started to lie that I wanted…

        1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

From what I’ve heard, the game is plagued with glitches. Maybe rent it first if you can to see for yourself.

    2. Graphics and power is all you think about? Jist another typical reject fanboy buying shit for the wrong reasons. If you know a game is pretty but have shitty gameplay execution, would you still buy it or even buy it as a game to play and not see?

Of course you will and that’s how Microsoft and most 3rd parties trap your dumbass like a moth you are only bedazzled by eye candy CGI and shit. How sad.

      1. Well, not really. :/ I like good games, not just the graphics. The truth is I actually wear glasses so the only way I can see all that “dazzle” and shit is to look close up at the TV. LOL. XD And to be honest with you, If I owned a PS3 or 360, I wouldn’t even be writing this. At all. :( I just wish 3rd parties would stop being such bitches to Nintendo and just make games for the Wii U! And now I gotta save up for a PS3 or 360 to get games. Not so much as Ubisoft’s stupid ass, just alot of 7th gen games I missed. :P And so that leaves me with this question. Should I get a PS3 or 360? (Fuck no I’m not selling my Wii U or 3DS xD) I’ve been thinking about getting PS3 cuz the exclusives are better, but damn the 360 controller feels like heaven. Idk.

    3. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Why would I want any Electron garbage?…

Mentioning the Ubisoftians is one thing but take the Electron garbage out of it…

      1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

It’s the sports games. If EA didn’t have those, they would have died off a long time ago.

    4. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Sorry but around 75% of your comments I do not agree with one bit…

If you think that graphics is the most important thing in games then you clearly don’t play and buy games for the logical reasons…

Tekken is overrated and was basically another port, MH3U sold well, MH4U was never intended to be on the Wii U so they didn’t “give up” in anything, Street Fighter IV is already on the 3DS, why bother with a Wii U version, Dead Space 3 is garbage compared to the previous 2, BF4 really?, Crysis 3 graphics garbage, Titanfall overhyped and with garbage graphics and mediocre gameplay…

Do you really think they delayed Watch Dogs to “make it better”?…

I think you have fallen for their lies…

      1. Ok. I’m sorry if I came off and sounded like an ignorant fanboy. But the truth is, I haven’t owned any other system besides Nintendo’s. I don’t know whether to blame Nintendo or blame 3rd parties because I don’t know who’s doing this, but it needs to stop. I get jealous of people who own PS3’s and stuff for their games… I really want games and I’m frustrated right now. I hate EA but I like some of their games like Need For Speed. I haven’t got to try most of their other franchises because like I said, I only own Wii U and 3DS. Why does everybody hate Nintendo? I mean, it’s not just one company, but like a majority of big name 3rd party devs. Don’t you find that weird? And yes, I admit, I am one of those people who got a little overhyped about Wii U. I wanted to play GTA V on my Gamepad. I like to play Wii U as my prefered system because it feels better. Playing GTA V on PS3 just feels stupid, but that’s where you can play it I guess. I don’t even know what to do anymore. I just finished off paying Mario Kart 8, so I suppose I’ll start saving for a PS3 or Xbox 360. Which of the two do you recommend?

        1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

I would suggest first waiting till after E3 to see if our empire deserves to be punished this whole generation or if they need to be forgiven…

Personally I would buy a PC, most Third Class games are out in it, are cheaper and better online experiences…

But if I had to choose one of those, I think you already know which I would choose…

    5. How is a game that framerate dips below 20fps running beautifully?
I don’t blame Wii U gamers for Ubisofts fuck ups.
Zombi U, while being a good concept and gameplay, had tons of game breaking bugs and glitches.
      Delayman was self explanatory.
Splinter Cell had loading times that made me give up on the game, since when ever I popped the game in 1/2 of the time was spent staring loading screens.
And even with all the promises, the game still did not feel like Splinter Cell.
I wont blame anyone for skipping Watch Dogs Wii U version either.
Ubisoft has made it clear, that Nintendo and Wii U gamers are second class customers, that can be slapped with any half done port.

Most of the Wii U gamers has another platform to game on, and I dontblame them for buying the game for the platform that the game runs as it was meant to, and has all the support.

  18. Well, that’s sad for NIntendo. Still, retreat, regroup, and get back in for round 2. #WiiGotNoGamesForU may be the case for some, but the lineup is actually pretty decent and more games keep coming up. The System will never be an all star, but it’s still good enough to warrent a purchase. Even if I haven’t played mine in a few months, I’m still happy that I chipped in to get one when it first came out. I’m definitely aiming to buy Avengers, 3D World, Kart 8, and Smash Bros and I’m sure that many more will be added to my list as well! #WiiHelpsU

    1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

The Wii U, as we both know, has plenty of 3rd party support. The problem is, a lot people that bought the Wii U with the hype of getting 3rd party games were expecting big name 3rd party titles like Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Battlefield, etc. I hate to name names but one of them like HollowGrapeJ only has himself to blame for getting overhyped into thinking it was going to be nothing but big name 3rd party titles. Instead of getting mad at Nintendo, they should redirect that anger at the big name 3rd parties like EA, Square Enix, Rockstar, & Bungie that apparently don’t want to support the Wii U who’s infrastructure is vastly different from the easier to multiplat for twins.

  19. Pingback: Ohje – Ubisoft hat nichts für die Wii U oder 3DS auf der E3 | GAMECONTRAST

  20. All Nintendo can do at this point is show it’s great 1st party lineup for the rest of this year and the next at E3. Hopefully they have more than just what has been announced . I know Zelda Wii U and a new 3DS game will be revealed, but there has to be a lot more.

  21. By the way, I know Ubisoft is a sensitive topic, just because we duke it out in here, doesn’t mean we have to part ways in every post. ;)

Well, I’m going to go play some ZombiU!

  22. Hey guys! Guess what?
Hover Revolt of Gamers is done funding & it’s coming to the WiiU!
    (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧

  23. HA, good, GTFO Ubifail, I haven’t bought a game of yours since ZombiU and the game breaking glitches fucked me over not once but twice, I never even got to finish the game, I put 16 hours into my 1st try, then 12 hours next try, I don’t support you Ubifail, go join Sony and Capcom with having small amounts of money left, although out of those 3 I hope Capcom or Crapcom does better to you.

  24. not even a new Just Dance? Ok there is something very fishy going on here, as just dance is one of the best seller franchise Ubisoft has and most of the games where sold in Nintendo platforms.

There is got to be some kind of exclusivity deal over here, people always wanted to have a new Far Cry game, Ubi had the oportunity to do it and nothing… they just gave Nintendo Fans (Bad) Ports and delays what is going on?

  25. Don’t forget, they’re also responsible for all the wonderful DS titles such as Imagine: Babyz and Hamsterz Life. What a loss!

  26. I just wonder how long the Wii U will last if Nintendo loses ALL third party support, and only has indie developers working on games? It’s all so sad. The Wii U is a great console, and has SO much great potential. The Gamepad was so comfortabe and useful during Assassin’s Creed IV. Oh Assassin’s Creed……..I’ll miss you. : (

  27. In a way, I don’t quite mind this; Wii U is getting MK8, Smash Bros U later down the line and the next Xeno game, to name some exciting titles. My point? Wii U is getting some strong exclusives.

HOWEVER, despite that, the worry is that with big 3rd party titles coming out for example. WatchDogs (Which is coming on WIi U) and Titan Fall (which is out already if I’m not mistaken) I don’t really want Wii U to be like Wii when it missed out on certain big titles. Hopefully improved sales of the console may be generated in the next months and onwards and such may give confidence to 3rd parties to support Wii U, so gamers on the this platform can enjoy what this generation has to offer without needing to buy a PS4/XB1.

  28. Why am I not surprised. I saw this coming when they delayed Rayman.

Ubisoft has been making its Wii U sales low with delayed releases in other regions behind PS and XB then blame the Wii U.

The future of Ubisoft gaming is No Nintendo Games. They took long enough to do an EA move. If I do play their games, I have other means of getting them and you know what I mean…

    1. And idiots say its the fanbase not buying their crap or system being weak or selling terribly because of it when its not but different.

The truth is so obvious and I’m kinda surprised of the stupidity of people not seeing it.

  29. Only Ubi game I care for, is BG&E 2, and since the first one was my all time favorite games on GC, I would be mildly disappointed if it didn’t come to Wii U.

  30. Konami,Platiumgames,Sega, and as much as I hate to say this, Capcom are still with Nintendo guys. We good.

    1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Aslong as they keep releasing MH games I’m good with the Capconians…

      I’ll buy MH4U next year…

      1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

If they manage to salvage Resident Evil with RE7, I’ll gladly buy it if it comes to the Wii U. I’ll just have to use “Let’s Play”s of 5 & 6 to catch up to the story. I still have some hope for that series thanks to Revelations being a nice medium between survival horror & action horror. And I love Monster Hunter’s online focusing on co-op instead of competitive, so I’ll gladly get MH4 Ultimate for 3DS when it releases in the States.

        1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

It would be better if they rebooted the entire franchise…

RE5 and 6 turned it into pure garbage in every way…

          1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

I’d at least like to see a conclusion to the series before they reboot it. I hate the idea of something ending on a cliffhanger, no matter how bad the last few games were. Would we want Metroid to get a reboot just because one game, Other M, failed miserably? For me, the answer to that question is a big fat no. I’d prefer a game that takes place after Fusion that retcons it or a reimagined game of Other M with another writer that people have more faith in.

            1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Metroid Other M still had Metroid vibes, RE5 and 6 are just generetic action games that went mainstream…

              1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

True but a conclusion would still be nice if RE6 left a lot of unanswered questions. Not to mention the stuff that Revelations leaves up in the air. Just one more game to conclude the originals then a reboot. Capcom REALLY should have just rebooted it after RE5 with the death of Wesker, to be honest, to end the series on a high note. Instead, they dragged the series with it’s main driving force of evil, Wesker, dead for another two games. But if they do reboot it without giving the series a proper conclusion, we can always ignore the events of Revelations & RE6 & just pretend the series ended after RE5. lol

  31. I think this video represents Nintendos current situation and how they will win back gamers:

    http://youtu.be/-UG2xVExfu8

    -Nintendo being Beaky
    -Mom: Gamers
    – brothers: Xbox, Playstation, Steam

I wish the complete video was online because this one only shows the part when Nintendo is being dumb.

Hope somebody could help me find the complete video to see what I mean.

  32. Aside from Watch_Dogs Wii U, the only Ubisoft game I want (aside from Red Steel 3 & a Buck Bumble reboot [keep dreaming]) is the next PoP. That had better come to Wii U as it’s perfectly suited to the Nintendo philosophy. Maybe the recent leak re PoP was bogus, or it’s too early to officially announce @ this year’s E3, or too early to discuss platforms for it, but Ubisoft & most big 3rd parties need to start making some serious games. I mean, for all their resources, they continually fall short of Indies.

Was Wii really the last console where 3rd parties actually made games? Is Wii U gonna be the last industry console? Or have consumers abandoned them for multimedia boxes w/ expensive interactive movies & a small field of genres (sandbox & FPS)? Why have the amount of hardcore gamers shrunk so damn much that hardcore devs now rule w/ flashy audiovisuals that kill hardcore gameplay? What’s wrong w/ the West & why can’t the suits & shareholders care about games? I really hope Japan & the old ways return soon. The 3DS keeps hope alive, but it’s not the same as a console, & I still want to be a console gamer. Hel, if Wii U fails to generate a true renaissance, then I’ll have to feed my addiction & get a PS2; not 3, not 4, but 2. Gah! If only SEGA could’ve stayed, &/or Sony never started copying MS. Would 3rd parties have gotten so stagnate? Would their catalogs still be healthy?

Nintendo has always been different, yet I’ve always had more 3rd party titles than 1st on SNES up to Wii U. Guess the old definitions have been thrown away. Gaming’s become far too mainstream for my tastes.

    1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Agreed, PoP needs to come to the Wii U considering I have bought all PoP games in the last 2 decades…

If not, then i’ll treat them just like the Electron Army…

    1. How? Ubisoft chose to delay Rayman out of some dumb sense of skepticism that Rayman wouldn’t help push Wii U sales which would’ve been the opposite if they did launch it since many were waiting and waiting Wii U for that game alone. Not only they were dead wrong about that hypothesis but them releasing Rayman Legends next to GTA5, screwed themselves also and also Wii U version still sold more and considered the definitive version. And how did they repay us after that stunt? No apology for Rayman and delayed Watchdogs without any given reason besides two possibilites: Their “fuck you” message to Wii U or cowardly dodging Mario Kart 8.

Tell me again, how is it the fans or ssystem’s fault for Ubisoft making one dumbass decision after another to be like EA now? And speaking of EA, why they turned and talk like an angry wife? Because Nintendo simply recognized Origin being bad for their business, system and fans so they reject it and EA right there lost their minds.

Time for you to come to your senses and stop licking their dicks for cheap hollywood movies for a video game.

  33. I am one of those who defend Ubisoft for watch dogs story and I will still defend them. now It’s not just Ubisoft but all 3rd party studio/publisher. I completely understand why they want to release on PS4, there is not doubt about it. But why Xbox 1? the sales of that console are lower than Wii U but the perspective of growth are even lower on xbox 1 than Wii U. It’s a well known fact the xbox and even the PS4 are too expensive and even with a xbox1 without the kinnect it’s still too expensive. Does assassin’s creed sell more on xbox than wii U?

    1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Xbox One+Playstation 4=Twins (same genetic make-up but different personalities independent of the other.) It’s easier to multiplat for both of them so nuff said right there.

  34. That’s because even though the install Base of xbone is lower than wii u,it’s still growing at a faster rater then Wii u,keep in mind also that xbox reached 3million consoles sold at a faster rate then Wii u,and it’s a far more expensive then Wii u,also xbox1 doesn’t have its AAA selling games on the market yet, like Halo and gears of war. And yet it’s selling at a faster rate then Wii u,and most of all you forgetting xbox isn’t available in Japan, I bet you my end of the year xbox1 would have outsold wii u,especially since the kinectless xbox1 is rumoured to release in June

Another point you missing is that Wii u doesn’t have a 3rd party market, meaning people who bought Wii u, bought it because of Nintendo games, look at 3ds it’s over 40million owners strong and yet it has no 3rd party support, no Ubisoft games, no earthly games, it’s not getting better 3rd party support then ps4 and xbox1 even though 3ds is the best 8th gen console based on install Base

    1. 3DS has no 3rd party support? What about Atlus, Square-Enix, X-Seed, Capcom, Level-5, SEGA, Namco, indies… Granted, it’s mostly RPGs, but that’s wonderful since the genre & its sub-genres have become so scarce on consoles. Anyway, just like my Ninty console libraries, my Ninty handheld libraries have more 3rd party titles than 1st/2nd in each (save my original GB & my GBC libraries). While Nintendo’s philosophy initially entices me to their hardware, it’s the 3rd party support (when the games fit the system/demographic) that keeps me there. But most Western 3rd parties are either out of their element, or they can’t afford (or flatout refuse) to adapt & cater accordingly.

I do wish Ubisoft would make a 3DS sequel to Shadow Wars, though; it’s one of my favorite SRPGs. & another Ridge Racer from Namco would be great (wish Arcade Racers were still plentiful).

  36. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two
pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
