Nintendo To Host Game Seminar In Japan For Second Consecutive Year

Nintendo Japan has announced its game seminar for university students will be returning for 2014.  After a three-year break, Nintendo revived the games seminar programme last year and focused purely on developing within the Nintendo Web Framework. But applicants this year will get to grips with the power of Unity and develop 2D games.

The application process is open to all students in university or colleges within the Kansai or Tokyo Metropolitan area between June 16 and 29. Fourteen lucky applicants will be chosen from each location and must be prolific in either Programming, Graphics or Sound. The game seminar itself will take place some time in mid-August this year until March 2015, with most lectures scheduled between 6.30 p.m  and 9 p.m on Friday evenings. You can visit the official site, here, for more information on the seminar or to apply when the process is live.
