GameStop Now Offering $50 Credit Towards Wii U When Trading In The Wii

GameStop have produced a new incentive for those of you that have yet to upgrade from the original Wii to the Wii U. The US-based company is offering $50 credit towards a Wii U if you trade in your old Wii console. It’s not a huge amount, but if you’ve yet to make the plunge then now could be the time to do so.

Thanks, David

    1. research. go to Nintendo youtube channels. watch 20 videos of the system and other games….and watch e3.

its wii 2 in the most simplest of terms.

    2. It’s a system developed by Nintendo it was released in November 18 2012 it competed with playstation 4 and Xbox one

  1. God fucking dammit. This would’ve been perfect. I gave my Wii to my brothers and this would helped out alot in getting the Mario Kart 8 bundle.

    1. When you trade any system you need the connector cables and atleast 1 controller. anything more than that is extra trade credit

      1. They only sell wood for like, 70 bucks. It’s not much more than the credit they’re giving you.

  2. Awesome.

also……. :O the wii had so many colours!!! bring a silver wii u to the market Nintendo !!!! special edition with a green game like……yarn Yoshi perhaps.

  3. Then how do you transfer your data? I remember with the 3dsxl somewhere there was a deal where you could get a discount by giving them your old 3ds but in that case you were allowed to transfer your data first.

  4. Wanted to check if you could get cheap Wii 20-30$ to take advantage of this.
But stumbled on someone who is about to sell a Wii U, just the console, no games or peripherals, for 610$
But I doubt the buyer is really going for it, just fake bidding out competition or something?

    1. It all depends on what is busted, but they do take in consoles that are broken for and knock off a refurbishing fee.

  5. The Wii was still a great little console. Sure it didn’t have HD and all those other fancy features, but it had some pretty impressive games. There’s still a ton of games I need to get!

    1. Same here, there are lots of great Wii games that I didn’t get for some reason. I even made a list of the Wii games that I need to get.

  6. i’m confused why anyone sells their used games/systems to gamestop when they could get wayy more REAL money selling from on ebay…..

  7. yes wii was a little beautiful console compared to those giant first ps3 models. it did have great games, though it also did have a drought of more “hardcore” titles

  8. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa riiiiiiiipppppppppppp ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
