Latest Miiverse Update Adds Option To Disable “Yeahs” Appearance In Activity Feed

Nintendo has updated Miiverse today and, as always, Marty is on hand to give us all the necessary details. The appearance of members’ most recent “Yeahs” on the activity feed – added in an earlier update – was frustrating for many regular Miiverse users, so Nintendo has added an option to disable Yeahs from appearing in the feed all together. You can locate the option to do so in your Miiverse settings from the user menu.

But if you’d rather see fewer Yeahs than disabling the option, Nintendo has now reduced the display amount, though members will see the full post instead on both Wii U and 3DS versions.

Further to these changes, an update to the web version of Miiverse is now live, where it matches the Wii U and 3DS versions, as well as including your favourite handwritten post. And finally, there’s also a new feature which allows users to embed a Miiverse post onto a web page – you’ll find the option available at the end of the specific post.

      1. They’re not removing “Yeah”s, they’re removing the notifications of “Somebody yeah’d someone else’s post”. I don’t give a flying fuck if any of the people I follow liked someone else’s post, it’s annoying.

        1. I know. Popular people followed hundreds of Miiverse users. Their feed is probably worse than ours.

  2. This is an excellent improvement. Last two updates have been awesome. Let’s keep this momentum going.

Finally! I’ve been waiting for this update. No more of those damn Yeahs hogging up all of the Activity Feed. That damn feed is annoying enough as it is without all the damn yeah notifications. I just hope it also eliminates any Yeah notifications on the Notifications page, too, so I don’t have to worry about missing anyone actually responding to posts.

  4. I have been waiting for an option for a while now but I got used to seeing what other people yeah so I’m not going to disable it.
