Magic Pockets Developing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles For Nintendo 3DS

teensage_mutant_ninja_turtles_3ds_box_art

Activision has announced that a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS and will be developed by Magic Pockets. The game will be a third-person action game and will tie in with the August 8th release of the Paramount Pictures film of the same name.

Mad genius Baxter Stockman’s mutant and robotic horrors have teamed up with the shadowy armies of the Foot Clan to terrorize New York City, and only Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello can protect its subways, sewers, rooftops and streets from their devastating campaign.

Developed by Magic Pockets, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is built around fast-moving hack-and-slash gameplay, letting players swap between its four main characters at will. From Mikey’s speed to Raph’s brute force, each brother brings a unique set of strengths and skills to battle based on their personality. Players can evolve in power over time, gaining new levels, abilities and stat points, while mighty new weapons can be crafted back at the Turtle’s Lair from raw materials collected throughout the adventure.

Thanks, Pablo

What more do you expect from Michael Bay, the racist, women offending stereotypical pervert…

        1. Just want to remind everyone that if I’m not mistaken today is the last day to reach gold or platinum on club nintendo

Good thing I’ve already gotten platinum status since it’s the 1st of July here now. I wonder when we can expect to find out the rewards. I hope it’s something like the Mario cap. Maybe Link’s hood/hat.

          2. I reached Platinum MONTHS ago. I just wish they’d get more rewards. I have over 1,400 coins, and they have nothing to choose from. I don’t know why they have so little? I wish they’d make more physical games for rewards, like the Game & Watch DS games. And/or some CD Soundtracks.

They apparently want to save the CD soundtracks as rewards for reaching Gold/Platinum status.

  1. Another shovelware title for the franchise….*sigh*
What happened to the good old days of tmnt games?
Like Turtles in Time on the snes?

    1. And I like how much of a dumbass, hateful racist you’ve proven yourself to be.

STFU for the love of God and Martin Luther King.

          1. You people are fucking Pathetic! You go on talking about I hate trolls bla bla blaaaa and then you say more racist and hateful comments to sasori and look more of an idiots then the trolls you argue with all day. Don’t get me wrong the trolls here need to be told off sometimes and Sasori “was” no exception but he has actually been better lately and has not been attacking any individuals or just leaves his thoughts on certain games. Give the man a break he is entitled to his own opinion and he stIll owns a wii u doesn’t he? Says more then some of you people here that still don’t have one of took them 2 years after launch…’cough””

    2. Nickelodeon didn’t reboot it.

A bunch of fans who grew up with the show and professionally joined Nickelodean Studios made it.

    3. Your kidding right? The Nick turtles are one of the best if not the best adaptations of the characters to date!

    4. You know the Nick Turtles is in my opinion one of the best if not the best adaptations of the turtles yet! Its my favorite at least

      1. I agree. The Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles series is my favorite since the 1980’s series. It’s WAY better than the horrid 4-Kids 2003 series.

        1. Because there’s tons of other shooters that let you Mark territory with your gun, then shape-shift to use the trail as a path to swim along the marked area to new places.
Yup, totally nothing new or unique to the genre there; that concept is in sooooo many other games. /s

Just shut the hell up, Meg.
          Seriously.

            1. unique just means different from a traditional sense, so when was the last time u played as a squid controlling ur area, and the focus isn’t even shooting people

  2. Holy crap this looks terrible!

I miss the good old days of “Turtles in Time” on the SNES… That was a decent TMNT game.

  3. wow… a few months ago the comments seen improvement… but now it’s coming back to the stupid, obnoxious, fast escalating arguments that practically have no points. -_-”

Says the troll that copies my name in a stupid way, the one that should see a doctor is you, preferably to have your head amputated…

  5. Feel blessed, the presence alone is enough to make an opposer fold. History has shown, attack elite, find yourself with no area to roam. Stay in your lane, fantasy land of dragons and leprechauns, this elite has plans for a dinner or lunch. The lucky individual, a treehouse host, the female. No flamer here, no freak of nature, and my bitch has just had her heart broken, should have known, this elite has been I’m taken.

This is elite, bow down you common pawns.

  6. I guess that I’m the only one happy about this news. Look, the film doesn’t look that great and it probably won’t be that good since Michael Bay has completely wrecked the concept of epic turtles, but the game should be good. Activision has always delivered stellar games and I use the Spider Man and Rise of The Dark Spark games to back this up. I’m glad that the movie tie in games haven’t been completely forgotten and I’ll definitely be purchasing this one once it’s in the 5-10 dollar bin

  7. I want to get a can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup and pour it all over Nintendo Commander Quadraxis mom’s feet with cute painted toes and watch the chunks roll toes and heel.. Oh my oh my now that’s called screwing the pooch..

  8. Saw the trailer for the movie, seemed interesting (as a fan of TMNT I am reserving judgement until I see the full movie). Hope this game turns out well.

  9. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Oh sweet a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for Wii U! *sees that it’s for the Michael Bay film* Fuck you! Why am I not surprised that Activision is the one publishing this game. Keep it away! For the love of God! KEEP IT AWAY!! D:

  10. Turtles that look like toads… I’m boycotting this and the movie. I like the Nick show, but this ruins it for me…

  11. I haven’t played a good Ninja Turtles game since Turtles In Time on the SNES. Nobody seems to care about making the games fun anymore.
