Marvelous AQL Officially Becomes Marvelous As Of July 1

marvelous_logoAs of today, July 1, Marvelous AQL – the publisher of such franchises as Rune Factory and Senran Kagura – has officially changed its company name to Marvelous. In its press release, the company states that it hopes the change will help to strengthen the brand name and enhance its corporate value in the long-run.

Formed in 2011 by the merger between Marvelous Entertainment, AQ Interactive and Liveware, the Japanese company announced the name change back in March. Strengthening the company’s name and presenting its subsidiaries as a unity is at the forefront of business agenda currently, as Koei Tecmo has also followed the trend.

  1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

Hm. There sure have been a lot of name changes over the past month. What’s next? Is Retro Studios going to drop studios from their name? Is Square Enix going to become Enix Square?

    1. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

I hope not for the latter question. Enix Square doesn’t sound nearly as awesome as Square Enix.

    2. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Then we will probably someday become Commander Quadraxis Nintendo and Kalas XIII : Tallon Ridley…

  2. Yeh… the Namechange is pointless.
But the… “Logo” is… well, it’s random deformed WordArt anybody here could create in 5 Seconds and it is not even worth to be a protected Brand Image. There is no Character, Content and Value of Recognition on it.
