Japan: Wii U Sells 13K And Nintendo 3DS Sells 41K

This week’s best-selling games in Japan have been announced thanks to Media Create. Yokai Watch 2 remains the top selling game and is followed by Dragon Ball Heroes which is also on the Nintendo 3DS. With regards to hardware Wii U sales rose compared to last week shifting 13K units while the Nintendo 3DS sold 41K. You can see the best-selling software and hardware below.

      Nintendo games sale the first second and third waves of Nintendo consoles; third parties just latch on after. Nintendo next time have ammunition on the ready, and let third parties show up when need be.

      Monster Hunter Frontier G comes out on Vita today and Hyrule Warriors on Wii U tomorrow. I wonder how they’ll do. I guess we have to wait until next week to find out! =p

      hum I wish Bandai could come with a good dragon ball game, the best game ever would be an RPG style game for Dragon ball which become a fighting game when you hit dragon ball z saga…. back in reality bandai will just do the minimum and we will get a shitty fighting game with nearly no option and 1% replay value. LOL

        In other news, the PS4 passed the 10 million mark in a mere 8 months, whereas the WiiU didn’t even get to 7 million in, what again, nearly 2 years ? Not to forget how the PS4 left the WiiU behind in only 4 months or so.

          It did pass 7 million fool. And nobody is saying anything about PS4 right now other than it somehow flailing in Japan because, again, handhelds and mobile have taken over. Glad that PS4 is a runaway success so that Sony can at least make up for its billions of dollar loss from PS3. In the mean time, keep your fanboy panties on and untwisted because Wii U is recovering and this war just started. Jezz. XP

                  Source for the WiiU passing 7 million? Because last time we heard, it was still at 6.something.
                  And how was nobody saying anything about the PS4 ? The person I originally replied to obviously was. And even if we are only talking about Japan, you just gave the reason why it isn’t a humilation anyhow: console gaming is dead in Japan.
                  Also, the PS4 isn’t going to stay at 10 million and wait for the WiiU to pick up, ya know. The blockbuster titles are just coming, and once games like Uncharted, Bloodborne, KH3 and FFXV are out, sales will blow up even further. Yes, even in Japan.

              Yeah, it’s definitely gonna be one hell of a party for PS4 to handle. We got Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2, and Hyrule Warriors. While PS4 has The Crew, Cod Advanced Warfare, Evolve, Destiny, GTA V, Battlefield Hardline, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and Driveclub. Lol damn PS4 doesn’t stand a chance!

            These sales still suck ass, so tired of everyone acting like they are good when the Wii sold so much more and actually had steady sales. Same with Mario Kart 8 in Japan when it launched with only a 19k boost and people said that was good? Then it dropped to 8k pretty quick.

            It’s just funny, if the Wii U was below the PS4 in sales, and the PS4 was selling as much as the Wii U right now in Japan everyone here would say the same thing I am saying now, that these sales are shit but as always since it’s the Wii U, these poor sales in Japan are still considered good.

            Finally! The Wii U has gone back into the 10k numbers while the PS4 is in the… 1k numbers. Question is, will this increase or decrease next week? Let’s hope it increases exponentially next week since Hyrule Warriors will be out in Japan… Holy fucking shit! They already are for sale in Japan at this hour in time since they are always practically a day ahead of the rest of the world! Come on, Japan! Please pick up the slack of Wii U sales for us since the rest of the world won’t be getting Hyrule Warriors til mid next month!
