Here’s The First Look At The Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire Demo

NintenDaan has captured some footage from the upcoming Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo which will be released on October 21st. To get the demo you need to obtain a serial code from the Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter and head to the Nintendo eShop on their Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS device to download the Special Demo Version. Here’s a look at the first 19 minutes of the demo and also some trainer challenge game play.

  1. I wonder how many people are aware that both Glalie and Steelix have Mega Evolutions now.

Don’t believe me? Go to Serebii.net or something.

    1. Wait but how could, look. X and Y grass rotate transfers well into placement of ORAS so you cant complain that, it’s well located all thing it’s all well differently, and fitting then.

  2. What?….I didn’t understand anything that was said there.

This game looks like X and Y to me too, but I loved X and Y, so thats a good thing. I do wish Gamefreak would make a new generation already. All new pokemon with a new art style and new story. I will give them a pass on this game becouse it’s a remake, but if their next game still has the same pokemon, with the same art style as X and Y, then I will be a little tired of the series.

    1. I am not a big Pokemon fan and these games just look way too similar all the time to me. That’s why I never really cared for them. In fact, I’ve never bought a Pokemon game before. I only got Pokemon X for free because it just happened to be part of a promotion when I got my 3DS. I never played gen 3 and I hear it’s one of the best so I’ll give it a try eventually. But I’m not quite convinced yet. WAY too similar for my tastes.

      1. You must hate Metroid, Zelda, and Mario too. Don’t try to say that the games in those series’ are groundbreaking and different from each other.

        1. *facepalm*

        2. Nergal, the Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword were three completely different games. The gameplay and artistic style were completely different. Same could be said about the 3d Mario games and Metroid games. Pokemon games are the same, just different regions and new characters. Throw in 70-100 new pokemon and you have a new pokemon game. Grapes argument is valid.

  3. I just downloaded it, received an email with code this morning.

“You have been selected to receive a special demo version of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire!

The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version features gameplay that you won’t experience anywhere else. During the course of this early adventure, you are likely to encounter a familiar Pokémon that can now Mega Evolve. What’s more, this Mega-Evolved Pokémon can be brought into the full Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire games. Reward items obtained during the Special Demo Version adventure can also be brought into the full game.”

    1. Lucky you. I wonder why Nintendo is giving it to certain people early. I’m in the Nintendo club and I swear I never get any of these special promotion demos… ever. I have never got one…lol …Nintendo hates me.
