Satoru Iwata Returns To Regular Work Schedule, Feels Healthier Following Surgery

Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata says he feels much healthier following his surgery to remove a bile-duct growth earlier this year. The company president has returned to work and resumed his regular work schedule, appearing in front of the media for the first time since his surgery in June in order to report Nintendo’s second quarterly financial earnings. During the presentation, Iwata remarked that he had lost weight, though felt much healthier.

The growth first came to light when Satoru Iwata skipped E3 for health-related problems. But it was during Nintendo’s AGM in June that the president explained his absence, saying he was currently resting after recent surgery to remove the growth. Iwata’s high spirits will thankfully continue as earlier today Nintendo posted a net profit of 14.3 billion Yen, smashing analysts predictions.

      1. I am not cursing others
I am giving a friendly warning because I KNOW it is coming, life has a way of retaliating against the scum of the human race, whether in the form of a pissed off serial killer or a deadly disease, punishment does as punishment is.

                    1. Actually no, there isn’t. It is not connected to karma, people have just connected it to karma, so there. There are many examples of karma not being present, and there are a small amount of those where you can say “it was karma”. So no, there is no karma

  1. Such a great man. I think nintendo is in a good place with him as the boss. Some people at nintendo are thinking about putting nintendo games on mobile, but Iwata goes to show that nintendo is there for innovation and amazing experiences. Without him, nintendo would be in a different place right now. Here’s to another 5 years.

  2. Love him or hate him, it’s good to know that he is o.k after his epic E3 battle against Reggie…I mean…uh, after the removal of his bile duct, yeah that’s what I meant.
Hate the guy??? Please Understand, Iwata is here to stay.

  3. I love this guy alot I’m glad he recovered and is in good health,he is the reason PS4 is doing so well,I love him for the decisions that made Nintendo losses in the past 3 years and I’m glad he made the Wii U a underpowered console like the first Wii and thus led to the loss of 3rd party devs,I’m glad he underestimated the power of the ps4,thank you Iwata.

  4. This is wonderful news. Now that he feels reinvigorated he’ll hopefully go all-out to make sure the Wii U’s recent success continues. I’ve been noticing a difference in the public’s perception of Nintendo as a whole lately. Great times are ahead.
