Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata says he feels much healthier following his surgery to remove a bile-duct growth earlier this year. The company president has returned to work and resumed his regular work schedule, appearing in front of the media for the first time since his surgery in June in order to report Nintendo’s second quarterly financial earnings. During the presentation, Iwata remarked that he had lost weight, though felt much healthier.
The growth first came to light when Satoru Iwata skipped E3 for health-related problems. But it was during Nintendo’s AGM in June that the president explained his absence, saying he was currently resting after recent surgery to remove the growth. Iwata’s high spirits will thankfully continue as earlier today Nintendo posted a net profit of 14.3 billion Yen, smashing analysts predictions.
If someone makes a nasty comment about this man right now, karma will put a bullet in skull.
That is all I am saying, continue.
Pls don’t start a fight where none exist
Telling people not to curse a man while cursing others himself isn’t exactly helping your case
I am not cursing others
I am giving a friendly warning because I KNOW it is coming, life has a way of retaliating against the scum of the human race, whether in the form of a pissed off serial killer or a deadly disease, punishment does as punishment is.
karma will put a bullet in skull doesnt seem friendly D:
It doesn’t? Hmmm… well maybe people should be civil even on the internet? Maybe karma won’t put a bullet in your skull? Is that a plausible solution?
There is no such thing as karma.
True
SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH!!!! KARMA IS REAL MOTHERFUCKAAAA!!!
Newton’s Third Law…
Exposed…
Not the same…exposed.
Yes it is, science wise…
Exposed…
Actually no, there isn’t. It is not connected to karma, people have just connected it to karma, so there. There are many examples of karma not being present, and there are a small amount of those where you can say “it was karma”. So no, there is no karma
Iwata-san resurrected the Wii U. With help from devs ofcourse.

Awesome gif!
That is awesome
He has actually been doing quite the opposite.
OMG! It’d be cool if they made a movie like this.
Such a great man. I think nintendo is in a good place with him as the boss. Some people at nintendo are thinking about putting nintendo games on mobile, but Iwata goes to show that nintendo is there for innovation and amazing experiences. Without him, nintendo would be in a different place right now. Here’s to another 5 years.
Whether people like it or not, with this guy on board, he’s part of the reason why Nintendo is the best game company out there!
I admire Satoru Iwata very much. I am glad that he is feeling better day by day.
That’s great! I wonder why people hate him so much.
Who’s hating?
A lot of Nintendo fans have been saying that he’s misleading Nintendo. Well that’s I used to hear. Not now though.
Great that he’s healthy! I may not always like what he does with nintendo at times but still he’s an awesome guy :D
time to put that work in Iwata. Stay healthy and keep Nintendo healthy.
great! I’m glad he’s helathier.
healthier*
His body is ready! Not sure that works here but seemed mildly appropriate.
People hate him because hes a character stands out and has a personally.
What personality? lol I don’t see anything in him. Still, awesome to see him getting well
Love him or hate him, it’s good to know that he is o.k after his epic E3 battle against Reggie…I mean…uh, after the removal of his bile duct, yeah that’s what I meant.
Hate the guy??? Please Understand, Iwata is here to stay.
YES the good old informative with half english nintendo directs :D
BRING IT iwata
and please do more ninja fights with reggie :p
Glad he’s doing better but I hope he’ll really turn things around with Wii U.
I second that!
I love this guy alot I’m glad he recovered and is in good health,he is the reason PS4 is doing so well,I love him for the decisions that made Nintendo losses in the past 3 years and I’m glad he made the Wii U a underpowered console like the first Wii and thus led to the loss of 3rd party devs,I’m glad he underestimated the power of the ps4,thank you Iwata.
What are you trying to prove or accomplish?
He is trying to compensate for his empire’s 2 billion dollar loss next year…
Just NOW? Man, his surgery was ages ago it seems. Glad he made a full recovery. I always liked Iwata.
Good to know that he’s back, I’m really glad that he’s alright.
This is wonderful news. Now that he feels reinvigorated he’ll hopefully go all-out to make sure the Wii U’s recent success continues. I’ve been noticing a difference in the public’s perception of Nintendo as a whole lately. Great times are ahead.
