Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker For Nintendo 3DS Will Cost $50 On Amazon

Popular online retailer Amazon has begun listing Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker for Nintendo 3DS. While this isn’t surprising in itself, what is surprising is that it will retail for the premium price of $50. Generally Nintendo 3DS games retail for around the $40 mark at the online retailer. Atlus has already revealed that the game nearly doubles the amount of content of the original Devil Survivor 2, but hasn’t explained why it costs more. Here’s some details.

  • Tactical Combat with a Side of Demon Fusion: The elements that make the Devil Survivor series great are back and better than ever with robust, turn-based strategic combat.
  • Choose Your Own Fate: The line between life and death is razor-thin. Actions have their consequences, and in the wake of the apocalypse, a wrong choice can result in the permanent death of a character.
  • New Personalities to Discover: For the first time, Devil Survivor 2 is getting fully voiced English story dialogue.

        1. yah, 3ds games are usually $40, but other games, such as vita and home console games go for $60, in some places in Europe the Nintendo games sell more than the other company games

          1. There’s another game I saw yesterday that costs fifty dollars too.. Persona Dungeon, or whatever it’s called. They better not start making a habit out of this…

  1. I just want ATLUS to make another Ogre Battle game, and make it like Person of Lordly Caliber!! C’mon that game was sooooo goood!

    1. Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen was one of my favorite games as a kid, and still one of my favorite games of all time. It’s the grandaddy to Fire Emblem, and every tactical stragety game… I still have that game CIB, and it’s worth a lot of money..

  2. price tag is a little steep, i would be fine with $45 usd, $40 usd is perfect. i guess the updates and adding things could qualify for the $50 price tag and maybe gives more club coins (or whatever else it is in other regions)
