Nintendo has released some interesting data regarding searches on its Wii U and Nintendo 3DS social network, Miiverse. The company has revealed which games were the most searched for on the service and the results really aren’t too surprising. What is interesting though is that Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric was ranked at seventh, which is presumably because people wanted to see just how buggy and glitchy the game is. Anyway, here’s the top Miiverse searches during 2014.
1) Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
2) Mario Kart 8
3) Animal Crossing: New Leaf
4) Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U
5) Hyrule Warriors
6) Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
7) Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric
8) LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
9) Call of Duty: Ghosts Community
10) Tomodachi Life
Lol @ COD Ghosts
I facepalm at that sight. Like..fucking really? I would’re prefer Black Ops 2 over that POS.
Or completely take that crap away and put Bayonetta 2 there…
Exactly.
Maybe they should focus on actually improving Miiverse rather than collecting data without people’s permission.
It’s probably in the terms of use, you know.
Proof or it never happened
It is, because I remeber reading it, but I don’t know how to get proof other than to tell you to read the terms of use…
Ghosts is on this list? That’s interesting.
Wow and pokemons new 😲
I wish they would do something else with Mii verse. It seems to… old fashion… or something. Miiverse has never interested me.
Agreed
50% of those CoD searches wws from Sasori and the rest from Wiilover…
*was…
Most likely.
hahahahahaha pretty much.
F=ma.
I thought he only was interested in porn…
Well not really, more interested in our base ambassador Sickr…
Why is Sonic Boom and..worst of all; COD Ghosts…on the list?
This is old news by now…
6) Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Capcom that tells you that we need monster hunter 4 Ultimate on the WiiU.
F=ma.
Freakin’ Pokemon of course.
Super Smash Bros doesn’t surprise me at all. But Sonic Boom? I was hopeful for that game as well, but it just doesn’t sit well with me.
Wiiverse has so much wasted potential.
The only times I’ve found Miiverse useful was when I was stumped a few times in games, and I posted questions. Other than that, it’s completely useless. Unless you just like to see people draw pictures.
Interesting that like all ten of these games were best sellers.
Not really
