It may only have been yesterday that Nintendo of Europe begun distributing emails to pre-selected Club Nintendo members, but the New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Editions are already making their way to fans’ homes. For those that drew the lucky – or rather random – straw and managed to pop their order in via the Nintendo UK online store without much difficulty, your exclusive console may have already shipped and arrive safely later today. Nintendo UK and Europe have estimated a 3 – 5 working day shipment, with orders delivering until January 23.
But if you’ve got a case of the unfortunate green-eyed monster, you can take a look at an unboxing video embedded above before considering purchasing one of the hiked-up £400 eBay-priced editions. The U.S. brings in a hell of a lot more money for Nintendo than the U.K. I feel like Nintendo gives the U.K. all of these promotions just to entice them to buy, not to reward their loyalty to the brand.

Sometimes the US has nice exclusive LE´s sometimes Europe has them.
This far it looks like Euroland wont have the rather good looking MM LE with the Skull Kid figurine for example.
It´s good that some stuff is not available for everyone everywhere—-That makes them more rare and exciting.
That being said, my New 3DS ambassador model is ordered. Hope that I will recieve it this week.
Bear in mind this isn’t being offered to the whole of the UK. There are going to be few more loyal UK Nintendo customers than I (and I register everything on Club Nintendo and whatever) and yet here I am, without one of these emails.
