I’d never order from Toys R Us again after them screwing up my pre-orders of Lucario amiibos. And with the careless way that they shipped other amiibos to me (in bubble mailers. Seriously).
Bubble mailers? You mean those yellow envelope-like things with bubble wrap lining the inside? Or something else? They sent me my amiibos in a cardboard box with the inflated plastic stuff.
Yes. That’s the type of envelopes I’m referring to. They shipped my first several amiibos in boxes. But when it came to shipping one at a time, they put them in those bubble envelopes. I couldn’t believe how stupid they were. The amiibo packaging was all bent out of shape. I called and complained, and they refunded 4 of them. But I told them that the actual figures were damaged. I didn’t think they’d give a refund if they knew that only the outer packaging was messed up.
That sucks man. I think all mine have come individually in boxes, even though I ordered two sets of 3. But yea putting them in those envelopes is a terrible idea, they should refund you and pay you for the trouble lol.
Makes me wonder if I should just buy at least one of each character I can find. Im looking at 6 different ones right now.

Why are amiibos so popular? Their paintjob is worse than disney infinity and skylanders, their sculpts are worse than skylander’s (objetively speaking though i fucking hate skylander’s characters) and though they work with more games than disney and skylander their functions are worse (unlock a dress unlock a weapon)
I want to really know why everyone is getting crazy about them! There are tons of nintendo figures with beter quality and with almost the same price such as the ones from macdonald, they look amazing (mostly from mario/kirby thats true but there are also some pretty awesome ones from kid icarus and fire emblem awakenin)
