Pokemon Sweepstakes And Animation Marathon Announced

The Pokémon Company International today announced the launch of the latest TCG expansion, Pokémon TCG: XY—Primal Clash. In conjunction with the release, The Pokémon Company International is hosting another clash of its own: a special Team Aqua vs. Team Magma sweepstakes where players can vote for their favorite organization and register for a chance to win a six-night vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii. Starting today, Trainers can decide whether they want to support Team Magma’s expansion of land or Team Aqua’s plans to cover the world with water. By voting for their favorite team, fans will change the visual design of the site to reflect their team’s signature colors. Additionally, daily winners will be chosen to receive TCG products, plush, and wall graphics courtesy of the Pokémon Center (www.pokemoncenter.com). In a unique twist, Trainers can also receive extra entries into the grand prize drawing if they get their friends to register for the sweepstakes.

Upon conclusion of the sweepstakes, one participant will be randomly chosen to receive a six-night vacation for four to Honolulu, Hawaii. Prize pack includes airfare, hotel accommodations, car rental, spending allowance, and more!

In animation news, on February 7, Cartoon Network will host a special Pokémon animation marathon featuring Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, two special episodes featuring Mega Evolution, and three never-before-seen episodes from the TV series’ newest season.
