Nintendo Minute Reacts To The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D

The latest Nintendo Minute episode sees Kit and Krysta share their thoughts on the recently-released Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask 3D, which is available now for Nintendo 3DS. Both hosts had some different reactions and opinions on the remake as well as the Nintendo 64 original, which Kit never played and explains why he had reservations about it. Kit says he was initially concerned about its imposed time limit, which challenges players to race against the clock and manipulate time to solve puzzles, collect treasure and battle bosses within 72 in-game hours.

Yeah, it’s not like we want games to be challenging or have a difficulty curve…..

  2. it limits the adventuring that the zelda games have with exploring though. but it does make them a bit harder as well.

    1. Eh – Ocarina of Time started doing that as well with more linear exploration. MM just made you prioritize where you and what you had to do which added more weight and urgency to the story.

  3. I’d love to venture in the moon’s nose, and penetrate it. Link’s nose is preferred though. Can’t they ever flare it and let me put it in ma mouth??

        1. The settings are really beautiful & so is the lighting.
The bosses are changed in a way, now you got to hit an eyeball on them.
The Zora swim is really slowed down.

        2. Yeah, it’s worse. To be more casual friendly, you can also save your progress with the owl statues, and I think there’s more of them.

  4. Personally to me, they ruined the bosses.
Why do I have to hit that stupid eyeball now? Why make it a priority to hit it?
The battle with Odolwa was boring & he didn’t do any of the cool, unessary dancing.
The battle with Goht wasn’t as epic as before. Always gotta stop so I can hit that stupid eyeball, slowing down the battle.

    1. Not defending the eyeballs, but Odolwa was crap easy in the original game. Goht is slighty disappointing, but I remember he felled over in the original so u could do more damage to him, plus you always stopped when you got hit by stuff, so the pace is almost the same. Twinmold, and Gyorg feel a lot better then original. Twinmold is by far the best one thats been changed

      1. I feel like they just added tedium to gyorg and twinmold. you literally have to wait ages to cut the mines on gyorg or attack twinmold

  5. Hey any one who has the skull kid figure…How much does he weigh best buy is sending the free game, but weighs about 1lbs which is odd, to me since my majora 3ds was about 1.30lbs(with no packing stuff like airpacks), and my pit amiibo .6(with air packs)
