This week’s individual UK charts are now in courtesy of GFK Chart-Track and sales-tracker UKIE. Friday the 13th may have been too spooky for some, but it didn’t stop The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D debut in first place, simultaneously knocking off chart leader Grand Theft Auto V and defeating Evolve in a race against time.
Given it was Nintendo 3DS day, which also trended on Twitter worldwide last Friday, it wasn’t just Majora’s Mask 3D that had fans of the company wrapped up in a “terrible fate”, but Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate also made waves and landed in fourth. Both Majora’s Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate scored an impressive 9 in our reviews, which you can check out at the links above.
Elsewhere in the chart, Pokemon Omega Ruby has a mini revival and returns at 30, while Tomodachi Life falls five places to 36, and Mario Kart 8 rounds up the chart at 40. It may be the most requested, but that doesn’t make it the most popular. It would have to outsell Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess before you could claim it to be most popular..
Realistically it’s probably the third or fourth most popular Zelda game.

Awesome. Did anyone notice that this chart starts and ends with a Nintendo game. The fact that Majora’s Mask 3D has topped the chart is unsurprising, there are a lot of Majora’s Mask fans here in the U.K, plus the New 3DS has released and I’m not sure if there is Majora’s Mask New 3DS over here, but if there is, then that might explain it as well. The last 24 hours has been great for me, first India beat old rivals Pakistan, in the 2015 Cricket World Cup in Austrailia, to continue their streak of wins against Pakistan in World Cup matches and now the great news that Majora’s Mask has topped the charts in the least suspecting area…

is monster hunter 3 on the wii u any good. i tired the demo and the gameplay was boring. is it a hack and slash or rpg or what. was the demo a terrible representation of the full game?
If you didn’t like the demo I don’t think you’re going to be happy with the full game.
The game is a slow passe Action game and isn’t really for everyone.
The demo for MH3U was terrible. It’s not even close to the feel of the actual game

You have a point, Wind Waker HD didn’t come close to the limits of the Wii U. The new Zelda will push the Wii U to the limits. In my opinion it will be the best looking game the Wii U gets. The Zelda and 3d Mario titles are usually the best looking games on the platform.
