Pandora’s Tower Download Size Revealed For Wii U

Pandora’s Tower is now available for purchase via the Nintendo eShop on Wii U in Japan. Those looking to download the title will need at least 2,700MB of free space on their console. The action role-playing game was originally released in 2011 for Wii. It tells the story of a warrior setting out on a quest to save a girl named Elena from a dreadful curse, by fetching the flesh of beasts for her to swallow.

Oooo yay! I’m glad this will eventually come West, because I never got to play this game on my Wii U.

          1. Mine messed up when I was in Nigeria last year and I plugged it into the Nigerian outlet… I heard this weird pop sound so I’m hoping its only the adapter that fucked up and not the Wii itself

  2. It’s as if people base off their love of Wii U games because of the size…if it’s big, they buy it, if it’s small they don’t….reminds me of something else they lick–I mean like

  3. Ahhh this game lol. “Needs some beast flesh”…… If they’re doing this, why didn’t they do Xenoblade and save the trouble and not make a 3DS version…………..?

      1. And it wouldn’t be money if they rereleased it onthe VC for a big HD tv that you can also play on the gamepad?

    1. The nintendo magistrate

i think it will happen they will do a jrpg trilogy for the new 3ds but it more likely that the last story will get the 3ds treatment

    1. Oh and it doesn’t whore itself with millions of games in the series. I can’t think of another series that spammed far too many of the same games than Final Fantasy.

        1. As every LoZ is very, very different, I’m going to go with the explanation that every FF game is very different? Never played on in my life, though… I probably should try, I guess there’s a lot of “classic” or great games I haven’t tried, but games are so much harder to catch up on than movies!

          1. btw If you wanna play FF4 get the DS version! I’m playing the GBA version but the DS one is awesome and it has a lot of convenient changes and has real time cutscenes with pretty good voice acting

      1. Well Final Fantasy games are actually REALLY different with every installment. So even though there are A LOT of Final Fantasy games, at least they aren’t too similar to each other unlike the Zelda series. I mean I love the Zelda series and I know they’re different with each installment too, but when it comes to a video games series having a lot of installments, Final Fantasy does it better hands down.

        1. Eh hem… *looks at FF13* Boy. What a shitfest that one was.

And I know exactly what you’re thinking “*looks at Skyward Sword and Zelda 2* Zelda 2 is so ancient nobody talks about it anymore and the sole problem with Skyward Sword is that annoying ass “hold your hand” tutorial BS with Fyi.

    2. Ridley, the Angel of Death

Funny you should notice that. Now look at the name Last Story while next to Final Fantasy. See another resemblance? lol

      1. Ridley, the Angel of Death

*facepalm* Oops… Wrong game. I got confused from another comment mentioning Last Story. *dumb blonde moment*

  4. Still wondering if this VC release fixes the ‘game-breaking’ bug near the game’s end that many fans talk about. And if it is released in the West, totally all over it, especially as it uses classic controller, which I prefer over the Wii Remote.

  5. great game, but if anyone intends to 100% it I recommend writing down every cut scene you see because chances are you’ll beat all the game’s endings, collect everything and be at something like 97% and have no idea as to what you’re missing; since there is no in-game checklist for cut scenes and each one requires specific conditions, it may get extremely time consuming to narrow down the missing ones.

  6. the game is one of wii’s hidden gem. I never understand why nintendo print so little of it and allowed it to be a very sough after game which cost £50 on average (same like xenoblade).

IMO we need more of this type of game to make the wii u successful.

    1. The Wii definitely had some very strong third party exclusives, my favorites are: Pandora’s Tower, The Last Story, Muramasa, Red Steel 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Zangeki no Reginleiv, Sin and Punishment 2, Monster Hunter Tri, Zack&Wiki, Madworld and Fragile Dreams.

  7. Haha I bought it when in came out in EU but still haven’t played it yet. I should now that it’s digitally released…
