Yes, Nintendo of Korea has announced that its Korean fans will be able to watch a Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we will get a Nintendo Direct here in the west as it could be tailored specifically for the Korean audience. That being said, a traditional Nintendo Direct on Thursday would be pretty awesome. Maybe we will get a release date for Splatoon?

Korea has no games. Brawl was released in 2010 while the rest of us had it in 2008

well, i’ve been wanting it for ages, but couldn’t afford it, but my parents gave one to me and my family, since i’m starting a high school that i wasn’t too keen on.
p.s i actually got it in january, but i haven’t commented since before i got it

i’m 99% sure that Nintendo is going to release a Mario Kart Amiibo Collection along with a pixel Mario collection too. It would be stupid not to do it. Amiibo = Cash lol

Could really use a Direct to hold us over until E3. Splatoon talk/final hype train before release, Mewtwo trailer/release date + other incoming Smash content updates, MK8 DLC pack 2 release date & trailer, minor amiibo talk I would assume, concrete info on Wooly World, Mario Maker, maybe a Xenoblade Chronicles X trailer and hopefully more platforms supported on the Wii U eShop (along with more Wii games) to name a few random things. I’m sure Zelda & Star Fox will probably be saved for E3 as they should be but there’s no need for some of this other stuff to reappear there this year as well.

As an owner of a classic 3DS and a Wii Fit Trainer amiibo, I want a release date for the peripheral.
I’d also like some further Mewtwo DLC info.
As excited as I am for the announcement of a Nintendo Direct, the fact that it is specifically for Korea makes me think we probably won’t get much out of it, well atleast what everyone is expecting. South Korea tends to get games later than everyone else. While we may get some new info, it probably won’t be along the lines of Splatoon or Mario Maker info, not even a Mewtwo trailer (and God, do I want that. I can’t wait to play Mewtwo.) However, I do believe this marks a Japanese/Western Direct sometime within the next 2 weeks with some more info along the lines of what everyone is speculating/wanting. My biggest hope is a Mewtwo trailer and release date for it’s DLC.

YUS! Hopefully there’s a direct here in the west! I’m hoping for Mewtwo DLC (hopefully other DLC characters revealed as well), some MK8 DLC would be nice. I want a Wooly World release date, a Splatoon release date and a Xenoblade X release date. I want to see some Star Fox just a little bit of info would be nice, announcement of restocking of Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Captain Falcon, Pit, Ike, Dedede and the exclusives. (I doubt it’ll all be in there but I want some of that stuff.)

i dont think western fans should be too excited about this korean announcement
here in south korea we dont even have wii u! no amiibo!, no n3ds!
so it would be much less likely for somthing western fans would be excited to be announced
buuut we never know
