Nintendo UK Hunts For New PR Firm

Nintendo UK has announced that it’s currently searching for a new PR firm in the United Kingdom to help advertise both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The role was previously held by 77PR, but clearly Nintendo UK isn’t completely satisfied with the company’s output. The company is now looking for a new firm to bring about a fresh new campaign to reinvigorate sales of the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U.

“In order to keep the PR activity for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS both fresh and innovative, Nintendo UK is currently reviewing its UK PR agency with the help of the AAR. Nintendo is in the final stages of the process.”

    1. Nintendo as a whole just needs to have more aggressive marketing. There are tons of negative press about broken PC/PS4/Xbox One games. Granted there are some seriously good games on other consoles like Dragon Age, but it’s the “popular” thing to hate on broken games now. Why not capitalize on that? Why not advertise Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Mario 3D World, all Wii U exclusives that run superbly and are fun too?

The obnoxious presence of the Commander tended to keep the anonymous at bay. But now, they’re going ham and turning our beautiful blog into something less desirable.

You happened, not just you but us, but not us just them…

                Doesn’t make any sense right?…

All the name have fled, but their still here, watching…

                They’re here…

                1. Maybe if more of us were automatons, ENCQ would probably feel more at home but sadly his or her race is almost extinct and unable to conquer all of mankind.
                  Sorry, you had my support.

      1. If by aggressive, you mean advertsing a lot more, then I agree 100% with you. Advertising is the main thing that is holding the Wii U back. Nintendo own a Baseball team don’t they. Do Baseball teams have logos of sponsors on their T-Shirts and signboards in the stadium a little like Football(Soccer) teams do? If so, then couldn’t Nintendo have the Wii U logo on the Baseball T-Shirts of the players and Wii U and 3DS signboards in some places…

      2. I know right?!!!! They should totally jump on that. They could do in a subliminal way as not to offend future business with third parties by making a commercial that goes: “tired of buying things that break?” Well Nintendo makes games and playing these games won’t break” “unless you smash your console, feed the disc into a paper shredder or expose to the elements: pool, fireplace” they could make a comedic commercial out of it.
Damn these people are old and out of touch!

      1. Maybe lose your voice, it’s alittle too obvious you don’t get enough women, I play games but damn, I get pussy

        1. Yes, but have you ever gotten laid while playing video games? Do that then come back and talk to me. I bet this guy gets laid. Nerds get more and better women than normal guys..

  1. They just realize that now?

Anyway, better late than never. And while they’re at it, they should evaluate the NA PR company as well.

      1. What does Commander have to do with anything that the guy you replyed to said. Stay on topic dumbass…

  2. Sounds to me like Nintendo are FINALLY changing for once… seriously, they need the change and I’m glad they even admitted to their mistakes as well.

Nintendo NX is starting to sound more promising each day and the fact it’s going to be a new platform and concept, it’s also sounding interesting.

      1. He was a tool that called people out for basic shit like misspelling and unnecessary punctuation, while posting the same mistakes and crap himself. Nothing of value has been lost. Listen to Atmosphere.

        Have a good night.

  4. Damn its been a while since i been on this site. That PR company wasnt cutting the mustard either way.
Nintendo to get attention you need to spend some money. They need to built a satellite to broadcast on every media available for the next 24 hrs. Brainwash everyone. Nintendo 4 life!
