Bad news today for fans of Twitch as the company has confirmed that it has suffered a security breach and advises users of the service to change their passwords. Twitch has now expired all login information and when you next go to the site you’ll be prompted to change your password. The company says that it’s only certain accounts that have been compromised. Still, it’s not good news.
FUCK NEED TO CHANGE MINE ONCE I GET HOME!!! XD
Why the fuck would anyone hack twitch? What hell are you gonna do steal followers?
sigh… yes kiddo, the bad guys will steal followers.
Hahaha!
*steal Twitch Turbo or Subscriptions to certain channels.
What if it’s an early april fools joke? Still I’ll change my password…
BITCH.TV
The HISD surver denied it since I’m at school XD
I said this since it was a link to a website when it appeared in my Gmail btw
I can’t get to it neither and I’m on WiFi with nothing blocked.
Yeah it’s probably not even a real website but it turned into a link since it has the dot XD
Lol I would buy that name and make it as a website
You need a fucking gold metal for that comment.
Isn’t stating that gold is metal a bit redundant?
I think s/he meant “gold medal.”
I’m a boy -_-
wtf you are? you act like a female
What the actual fuck. In what ways do I act like a female? Please explain your self.
there you go :D
Oh your name and picture makes you look like a girl so now what.
Medal fucking medal ok
What if it’s an april fools joke?
It asked me to change my password for no reason, I was wondering if it happened to anyone else.
I don’t know what to change it too xS

Just the government trying to infringe on people’s rights to privacy, no news here.
I don’t understand why everyone would have to change their passwords.
This is enough for me to drop my twitch account, just like I did with Ebay. Ebay told me to change my password because of security reasons. That was over a year ago and I still haven’t made a new account.. If these major internet companies can’t keep our information private, I will not make an account. These accounts have our street address, telephone numbers, and in some cases like Ebay they have our credit card numbers. Fuck that, it isn’t worth it to me.
I hope they lose half their subscribers as a lesson.
Your opinions are too long, narrate better.
It takes me about 5 – 7 seconds to read a paragraph. If you are too lazy to read one single paragraph you should not be participating in a forum. And btw, I wasn’t “narrating” anything. Learn to use vocabulary better.
Better just leave the internet altogether because NOTHING is 100% secure and if someone wants to break into a network, they can. Most have already been breached one way or another from governments to large companies to even the smaller ones. If you have any information with any of them, chances are your info has already been put at risk. It’s all a part of life in the new digital age.
No, your wrong. I don’t have to leave the internet altogether. Sounds like you never had your identity stolen before. If you had, you would understand where i’m coming from. It’s not as easy to get someones information as you may think. To just freely trust your information to these unreliable internet sites is the best way for you to get hacked. If you never give out your information over the internet, it makes it extremely hard for a hacker to get your information. And a hacker 99% of the time will take the path of least resistance.
Spoiler: I have. And it wasn’t from the internet, it was from swiping my card inside of a store.
I know how taxing and what a long process it can be to reclaim the pieces (some are lost forever). But I’m not paranoid either. Just practice safe surfing.
My response was regarding the fact that you’re quick to drop a service because it got hacked. I’m telling you, just about EVERYTHING has been hacked. So if you drop that one, which likely doesn’t even have that much sensitive private information on you, you should drop the others too.
“Nintendo News” *cough*
People stream Nintendo games…. I guess?
Haha how ironic since I just tried to do a security breach to steal twitch passwords….haha haaaaaa.

I don’t have a twitch account. I’m not sure what “twitch” is.
I’m not sure if you are joking or not but, Twitch is a website where people can stream (usually video games or conferences) to the general public. It’s very similar to youtube.
You are not missing out on anything.
Twitch sucks anyways!
