GameStop has just revealed via its Facebook page that the lucrative Ness amiibo will be exclusive to them. You can pre-order the figure from 2pm tomorrow along with the other amiibo figures that were announced today during the Nintendo Direct. Here’s what GameStop had to say.

Hahaha! Already got it pre ordered in Europe somewhere else completely. But it’s been full booked over a month so don’t count on getting one even.

I hate Gamestop, such an evil and greedy company.
Gamestop can be a ripoff, but the only reason why I support them is because unlike regular retailers they sell ALL games. If I’m looking for a niche title I know they’ll have it where as Walmart and Best Buy will only sell the popular titles. It sucks they’re the only store selling Ness, but just make sure to pre-order immediately and you should be fine.

I was talking to this guy today and he said he hated gamestop. I asked him why and he started telling me stories that happened to other people besides himself.. I said, “wait a minute, Gamestop has never done you wrong but you hate them anyways”?
I’ve come to realize that most people hate Gamestop without ever having a reason other than things they have “heard” or read about online. You think Gamestop is evil? Try researching Haliburton. You will find out what an “Evil” company really is.
I wouldn’t call them evil but really? GameStop has such shitty business practices and a lot of the things “heard online” are legitimate complaints. You don’t have to actually be one of the poor people who were sapped into buying “used” copies of Xenoblade at ridiculous prices to hate a company,lol.

This is a lie. It’s almost 4 p.m. now, and none of the new amiibo are on Gamestop’s site yet.
I recently was on the phone with a GameStop employee. People were able to get through and they wiped them clean of preorders. Literally the only one available is Pac-Man.
Pretty pissed that not only was their website down but they probably won’t be getting any more in stock any time soon.
