Mewtwo Moveset And Graphic Comparison From Melee And Super Smash Bros Wii U

YouTuber MasterOf Hyrule has put together a video showing the difference between Mewtwo from Super Smash Bros Melee and Super Smash Bros Wii U. The video shows off the graphical differences as well as the character’s moveset. As you can see Mewtwo shares some familiar moves and animation with the GameCube version, but he does seem naturally refined in the Wii U version. MasterOfHyrule promises a full comparison of Mewtwo will be shown when Mewtwo is released in two weeks time.

                    1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

                    1. Weakest Sauce ever bro CC. I wouldn’t prank call you for shits and giggles, let alone make an oppointment with your little sister.

                      Listen to jACK pAROW!
                      Happy April.

  1. His move set seem to be more stronger not his up throw but I think that’s so he can do more combo’s out of it.

  2. He was so slow, hopefully they increased his speed some. Im glad we get the opportunity to have more characters. But im pretty bummed aboot the no SNES title’s for 3ds… I dont know, gotta have those SNES games!

  3. I wonder if dlc characters can be used online since their is no current confirmation of it, but it probably will happen. I hope Mewtwo isn’t a bottom tier character again because I plan to main Mewtwo if he is good enough. Finally, I voted for Isaac, Chrono, and Goku in the poll. Goku and Chrono probably won’t happen, but at least I hope Isaac off Golden Sun makes it to be a dlc character for SSB Wii u/3ds.

No, vote Krystal from Star Fox Adventures. She will probably win, because she is the second most wanted character in Smash aside from Ridley.

      1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

        >>>I don’t think the amount of votes is what will be considered alone, I think also descriptions of why that particular character you chose would fit in>>>

        1. Bayonetta had no past history on Nintendo consoles.
So it would be highly unlikely that she’d make an appearance. Especially since she only had one game on Wii U. (Counting both Bayonetta 1 and 2 bundle together)

  4. I’m going to be disappointing if you people don’t vote for King K. Rool. I’m going to be even more disappointed if you vote for someone who is already in a Smash Bros games.

    1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

      >>>I personally would like King.K.Rool in the game but as a Metroid zealot, I voted Sylux>>>

  5. The Wii U version looks better, well ain’t that a surprise. That being said, Melee does somewhat hold up to this day, but Windwaker on Gamecube will hold up for generations to come.

  8. Well, it turns out I was right about 2 things:

    1. Mewtwo having its Y version of Mega Evolution.
    2. Mewtwo not actually keeping the form active like Lucario and Charizard for the duration.

  9. I amazes me that Melee is 14 years old already and it seems like just yesterday I was 9 yrs old getting melee at my local walart for the first time but anyways im really happy that mewtwo is almost finally in Smash Wii U/3DS! can’t wait!

    1. Lol remember when I first picked it up with the gamecube and I was acting like I wasn’t throwing a circus party in my head.
