The Meta Knight amiibo has been once of the hardest to find amiibo since its initial release, but amiibo collectors of the US may be in luck. Apparently, Meta Knights have been appearing in their thousands at distribution centres on both coasts of the US, just waiting to be shipped. Now, two separate sources have confirmed that Best Buy stores will be receiving Meta Knight shipments on the 20th May and ready to sell on the 29th May. Heard that date before? That’s because it’s also the date of Splatoon, wave 4 Super Smash Bros. and Silver Mario amiibo release. It’s the amiibocalpyse.

Marth is at nintendo world right now in New York city. Also, meta knight was in nintendo world 3 weeks ago and took 2 days to sell out. They are re-producing amiibos and nintendo is slowly meeting demand, so no scapler prices.
Eh, I caved in and imported the Japanese versions of Rosalina, Meta and Lucario a while ago. Cost a little more, but at least they were not scalper prices.
i got my silver mario. will go to the store and see what i can scrounge in terms of splatoon and wave 4 ssb amiibo. downloading so don’t care about pre-orders with shirts and squirt guns.

There are just TOO many things scheduled for May 29th. No way will I be able to afford ALL of them. Good thing I’m not planning to buy Splatoon.
