To push the New Nintendo 3DS XL in North America, Nintendo of America have released a couple of new commercials to show off the system and its games. It seems like the two commercials might be aimed at either gender. One features a blue background with a male voice-over, and one features a pink background with a female voice-over and a different set of games, implying they might be more aimed towards girls. What do you think of the new commercials?

I’m getting one. At first I was unimpressed but the new console is starting to look good. A nice variety of games for it. I’m getting a vita next month so…
1. I’m possibly ordering a vita this week from ebay
2. There are a lot of rpgs that I want on the system

I actually want a Vita too. Hoping to get one after I get a job and after I get a New 3DS and Wii U
1. What games are you interested in and I forgot to say I have freedom wars2. I have looked at gameplay and will continue to do so
2. I will try to max out each weapon in each of the four categories
3. I will max out my team mates etc etc
4. That will take a long time but I do that with each rpg
5. Like for example I’m playing disgaea 2 on my psp and I’m still on the tutorial levels and I’m going to get as many characters as possible and level them up far ahead of the levels of the enemies
6. Try to max them out with the weapons and armor available just as of now but they cost a lot
7. I’m going to get everyone up to at least level 11 or 12 and try to level up their specials to 5 for the easy specials and 3 to 5 for the specials that use more expensive
8. I will beat every enemy and boss with ease going with my strategy now of course this will take an insane amount of time go beat the game but it is more then worth it
I cant make the best of summer with the new nintendo 3ds xl if i’ve already played all those games :c
You can also make the best of summer by actually going outside and having fun. It doesn’t cost anything either!

People like me with horrible allergies can’t enjoy the outside. It’s nice to be active, but you can be healthy without going outside.

Not cute at all, it’s horrible. Trying to take my sisters to the park or just play outside is like Hell for me.
Zzzzz, this gets old. When don’t live in the 1800’s anymore. You can have plenty of fun without ever going outside, and you can be just as healthy without going outside all the time.
Plus I think going outside and actually enjoying it, is completely dependent on where you live. Cause there isn’t shit where I live that would make me want to go outside, the scenery sucks, everything is filthy, no one takes care of crap around here and just throws their trash in the rivers people swim in..
I tried to chill at park in Austin once, I even wanted to go rafting down the river. That was all until I saw a used condoms drifting along the rivers edge, right by where we were planning to get in… Not including all the other disgusting trash people threw in it that was just floating there also. I vowed to never swim in public waters again.
I don’t trust people and their bathing habits either. I’d rather just avoid it altogether. Ugh, water theme parks are even worse, nothing but a huge cesspool, those things.
Aside from diehard collectors (ones that are even more diehard than me), what’s the point of buying this when the successor to the 3DS will probably release next year?
Personally I don’t think they’ll release a new system next year. I think they’ll announce it in 2016 and then it will be released sometime in 2017. The Wii U and 3DS may live for another year, but that’s about it.
I’m a girl and I prefer more the games from the boy voice commercial :D
And I don’t have a reason to but the new 3ds yet since I played all those games on my regular 3ds.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to make a Xenoblade Chronicles 3D commercial for it, since it can only be played on the new 3ds?

I really want one. But I don’t like either of the colors available in Europe (I need the XL.) I have all the games listed, so that’s not the selling point, what I want it for is monster hunter which is horrible without a c-stick and smash for the easy smash and NFC. Not to mention future games that might come out exclusively.
i was lucky to get the majoras mask one at launch but that was the only reason i bought it. otherwise i’d wait until more games launch for it…. But now having it makes me cringe when i try my regular XL. the new 3D is amazing, the load times on Smash are faster, the screen is nicer… even the sound is a little better. also the nub works really well in xenoblade. can’t wait for some games that make use of those extra shoulder buttons!
I just hate the new colors! The commercials are fine, it is not like I will ever see them though we do not have cable, maybe on hulu though.
9/10…they lost a point for forgetting about Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. That is the greatest game on 3DS! xD
P.S.- I am completely biased! ;)
I will hold out for the standard New3DS which I find perfect in every sense.
Maybe at E3 they’ll announce it.

Where’s Xenoblade Chronicles & Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate!? I know they got commercials awhile back when the n3DS first released but still. In fact, these commercials should be longer & actually show a montage of the big 3DS titles that have released in the past year!
