    1. Yeah. I so totally called that this was gunna be a stage. There are also plenty of other single player stages too that can be utilized out side of it.

            1. Ha. I see what you are doing. ;)

It really seems the community is split down the middle. I’m waiting till all the “free” content is released, and see what the complete game looks like pre-paid DLC.

It’s probably like flipping a coin at this point. Maybe you’ll love it maybe not. I’m certain I’d really like it for a while, I’m concerned about whether I’ll keep playing it after the novelty has worn off. Not worth $60 to gamble for me.

              1. Same here. Every time new content is released I get excited andwant to go and buy it, but at the same time there are tons of other games that I want that are much cheaper and may actually last longer in the fun factor.

        1. I think Nintendo was smart to not have voice chat. As it is technically a kids game, with adults playing the chat could get very heated, negative and full of curse words that could lead to parents complaining or filing against Nintendo for allowing such bad things to happen. Even though the game says ages 10+ you know younger kids will be playing it, but just my opinion

          1. Nintendo is a pussy company Playstaion got voice chat kids and adults play there ….there us no excuse u bastard

    1. I miss voice chat a ton for Splatoon, but it isn’t a deal breaker. Sure, you can’t actively communicate, but from what I’ve seen there’s a general idea of where each person’s supposed to go. But I must say, the single player mode has been quite boring. Just a warning

    2. I’ve passed. So far I don’t regret it.
Half my friends said it got boring after single player was over and they played the few multiplayer maps for a while. I mean, It’s a gimped shooter, what do they expect. Typical Nintendo trying to shit so much on their own great ideas so they end up stinking.

      1. I kinda agree. I even actively tried to “extend” the singleplayer by only allowing myself to play 5 levels at most per day, lmao.
But yea, there is so much Nintendo has done wrong with the game. One of the things that annoy me the most is how the maps in the online mode are handled. You end up playing on the very same map 5, 6 times in a row way too often, which is extremely annoying. I mean, if there are only two maps available, at least alternate between them each round, instead of making it absolutely random which of the two will come up.
The fact that the choice of weapons and gear is pretty damn limited as well isn’t helping the game either. The only thing that keeps me playing are the ranked battles and me being too ambitious to give up before reaching the highest rank – which is kind if difficult when there is absolutely no balance and decent matchmaking, so whether or not you’ll win is highly determined by luck, lmao.

  1. this is seriously the funniest game out this generation if you’re looking for an online multiplayer shooter

  2. Wow this game is clearly unfinished, but you Nintendo fanboys don’t seem to care because it’s Nintendo, yet you call out other games. KMT.

    1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

      >>>We’ve all had that debate weeks ago, it’s done, now where is that voice chat?>>>

      1. Not coming – you’re either going to find another way to deal with the Voice chatting, or not buy the game…Nintendo don’t believe in offering the service because of the risks/issues towards younger players.

It is solely your choice to support them in this or not – this game will likely not change Nintendos minds on that particular issue, so it probably is not going to happen.

          >>>I don’t think people got it, I don’t even care about Voice Chat whether it’s there or not, just wanted to fool around since everyone just keeps mentioning that garbage everytime there is a Splatoon news>>>

    2. This argument would work if downloads or updates were required to receive the stages and weapons they’ve been releasing. They aren’t–instead, you simply have to be online and have the game on, indicating all of this content is *already on the disc and is simply being unlocked remotely at set times*.

Not to mention this particular stage appears completely unchanged in the game already, as a single player stage, which this article says.

    3. Not trying to be biased or sound like a Nintendo fanboy or anything, but Splatoon kinda gets a free pass. Because they aren’t charging you for this. All of it’s free. Well, so far anyways.

  3. This map seems like it’s going to be a nightmare to navigate.. think i’ll steer clear of it when it’s in rotation for ranked.
