Mario Maker Renamed To Super Mario Maker

Mario Maker has been on the scene since last year’s E3, however at Nintendo World Championships 2015 Nintendo unveiled the new, rebranded name for the Wii U exclusive: Super Mario Maker. It isn’t much of a change, but how do you feel about it?

  1. This game was actually one of the most legit looking games they played at the World Championships. I mean, I think before I was sort of like “oh, Mario Maker, looks nice” before, but now I’m like “Hot damn that looks fun”. They really showed off the amazing possibilities it possesses.

Trying too hard to come off intelligent there! That’s cool. Not my fault you’re an idiot way into his 40’s! Jealous that I’ve got a schedule to keep!

80’s baby 4 lyfe! Deuce deuce
      Now back to stat gathering!

      1. I know, but that’s what makes it so great. And Reggie’s response to it couldn’t have been better. xD

  2. Hungry or is a dickhead. I hope he is being trolled by the entire internet for his poor sportsmanship…. Win gracefully… If I was Reggie I would have bitch slapped that punk..

Nintendo offered him a job if he won… And that dumbass turned it down…

A dream job working at nintendo… Oh but he’s an engineer!!… What a joke..

        1. I agree. I wouldn’t want to work as janitor even if it meant to work at Nintendo. I rather work as developer/engineer for smaller firm and get paid well.

  3. ‘Hungrybox’. Damn I hate it when my iPad tries to guess the word I’m typing… Fucking annoying as hell..

      1. What exactly does “butthurt” mean? Like do you mean my butt hurts? If so, then no, I’m not butthurt.

I never understood the word butthurt. Like someone spanked my ass, or maybe ass raped me? I don’t know what you mean when you use that word…. It’s a trolls word if you ask me..

        1. Think of the question ” are you mad?”
But instead of using the correct term, replace mad with butthurt. That’s literally all it is. Impressive isn’t it?

        2. Now that you mention it, I think it started out as a troll thing but became a thing for everyone. Like bling bling, brother, what’s up, etc

The name change makes sense. I don’t care either way. “Mario Maker.” “Super Mario Maker.”

We get the same game either way and DAMN does the game look freaking gorgeous. I can’t wait to mess around and make some cool levels and I am so excited to see what other people cook up.

  5. I liked the simplicity of “Mario Maker”. Not a deal breaker or anything, obviously. I just hope it’s priced at a reasonable $40.

    >>>Now the only thing left is for the Koopalings to be confirmed and it will become a must buy>>>

  8. super mario maker sounds bland and generic the name mario maker was short and sweet and reggie lost on purpose to hungybox, reggie why did u do that?

  9. Name change is fine with me. They’d be smart to release it at $40 to make the levels, and have two $10 DLCs; Map Maker, which allows you to make the super Mario 3- U level maps, and Music Maker, with a mario paint style music generator/remix tools.

Plus they could release enemy, character, and power-up packs til the end of time.

  10. How do I feel? The same way I did before the name change. Least the name change fits the theme of Super Mario.
