Video: Here’s Three Whole Minutes Of Shovel Knight: Plague Of Shadows

One of the games that a lot of you enjoyed last year was the 2D side scrolling platformer, Shovel Knight. The game launched to excellent reviews and now we’ve got some free downloadable content coming our way titled Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows which promises to give us some more platforming excellence. IGN managed to capture three minutes of the game in action and you can check that out in the video embedded below.

      1. who cares we actually have 3rd party support. i don’t need your 8 baby games a year and oh the toys

      2. Because Nintendo has DKong, splatoon, Mario, yoshi and Kirby? With games like those, how could anyone ever consider getting a system with 3rd party support! -.-
I’m not sure where you’re going with your 1st party argument, but It’s Nintendo’s choice of 1st party gsme development that bothers me.

    1. Okay? You’re only highlighting the fact that Shovel Knight (and Plague of Shadows) is far more interesting and desirable than Star Wars: Battlefront. The Wii U comes out on top, in this case at least.

Or is that the point you were trying to make?

        1. Battle Front 3 has only half the content of Battle Front 2. While your busy playing a lazy money grab from E.A., that was only made because of the new Star Wars movie, I’ll be on my second playthrough of one of the best games in 2015, Shovel Knight.

Battlefront, ……….what a joke. No story mode, no space combat, no nothing that made Battlefront such an amazing franchise… It’s literally a movie tie in game. It will be just like Green Lantarn, or Thor, or every other sorry ass movie tie in game…

          1. Honestly, I don’t need a WiiU for Shovel Knight. I prefer to play it on my N3DS. I also get my Smash fix on it. I only boot my WiiU to play Mass Effect online while exercising. :(

    2. Yesss. This is one of the games coming out in the PS4 Vader bundle I’m thinking about… Close to going to the dark side. ;D

And don’t downplay Shovel Knight! D:<
