Rare has recently been releasing batches of unseen footage from a variety of projects that they have had in development to celebrate Rare Replay on Xbox One. The latest one is Twelve Tales: Conker 64 which was a less controversial game than Conker’s Bad fur Day. You can view some unreleased footage of charming 3D platformer below along with details of its interesting history.
Interesting stuff, my friends always bragged about how good of a game conker was, i never got a chance to play it..
How comical that a N64 game is exclusive to the Xbox One.
So XboxOne has Bad Fur day in Rare Replay?
Are the graphics upscaled??
Bad Fur Day on N64 Was a blast and funny as HELL. Especially with 3-4 player local VS mode…omg, so brutal and inappropriate at times. I still own it. My dad, bro and I still play it.
I hope my cousin still has the system and game so I can bring it home and enjoy the fuck out of it again. ^_^
Right?? Squirrels and Teddy bears blasting the shit and stuffing out of each other. The Squirrel run, man, so many memories, Lol.
My N64, I have the best Coop games. Armarines (Like Starship troopers) Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, BattleTanks, GoldenEye… And OFcourse I have the expansion pack for the system boosting the ram. Great to pull out once or twice a year and play for a weekend!
*thinks of Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs when looking at the name BattleTanks* It annoys me that the N64 virtual console is so lacking. If they weren’t going to give us Gamecube virtual console for the Wii U, they could have at least gave us more N64 VC titles that we never got on the Wii.
Hmm… If only NINTENDO would have VC games such as GCN, N64…
Nonono. Clearly putting GBA games on the Wii U instead of the 3DS was the smarter option to start with.
I don’t mind them putting GBA games on the Wii U. However since the gamepad has such a shitty range, they should’ve also put GBA games on the 3DS also so that you can continue off playing your GBA games on the go where you left off on the console.
That would have been really nice but this is Nintendo we’re talking about so it’s sadly not suprising in the slightest.
Sad, but true. Expectations can lead to disappointment, especially with Nintendo.
>>>True, however, about half of the time, many of you dream too much which leads to your own misguided demands and disappointments>>>
I can’t deny that.
On the other hand its hard to have low expectations for a company whose soul purpose it to make high quality games and systems.
>>>The empire will either prove it or not once the NX is revealed and talked about>>>
Very interesting. So, why did Conker become inappropriate? I’m curious to know now, but the lady won’t tell me until another day.
He became inappropriate because there was negative feedback (whether by fans or the dev team) about it being another “cutesy and family-friendly” N64 platformer by Rareware. That was back around 1998/1999 and it went dormant until 2001 I think when the N64 was graced with Conker’s Bad Fur Day.
I miss playing Conker’s Bad Fur Day. The final segment of the game is hard as fuck but still enjoyable. Is the Xbone 150 bucks yet? D:
$349 Without the Kinect. lol
So still have a long wait ahead of me. Got it!
Yup.
It all makes me sad because I miss the old Rare SO much! They made SO many great games. I’ll never understand why Nintendo let them go? I’d love to play a new Conker game on Wii U. Not the Crapbox.
You my friend make sense
