Yo-Kai Watch Demo Is Announced For US Eshop Release On October 22nd

Update 2: Looks like Nintendo of America has deleted their original tweet, replacing it with:

Seems like the demo will be available on October 22nd, 2015 instead of right now.

Update: Despite Nintendo of America’s tweet, it seems like not everything is queued up yet on their end. Users are having difficulty finding the demo on the eShop.

If you live in North America, make sure to swing by the eShop on Nintendo 3DS and download the Yo-Kai Watch demo. Rumors that a demo would release in the West came after the Australia ratings board listed “YO-KAI WATCH DEMO” earlier this week. Nintendo America, just released a tweet stating the demo is live in America:

Yo-Kai Watch is set to release in America on November 6, 2015 and in Europe in 2016.

  1. I’m excited to finally see what the hype in japan has been about! Looking forward to this demo. Also, did they REALLY translate the burger sign in Comic Sans..?

    1. The burger sign was identical in Japanese, if memory serves. The comic sans stigma evidently doesn’t exist over there. Although that raises the question of why they kept it for the US version, given that the font is ugly and the grammar is dodgy.

  2. Yeah, I saw the announcement and decided to give the demo a try. Yokai was nowhere to be found on the EShop.
