Popular game trivia site, Did You Know Gaming?, has released a video that takes a long, hard look at the original Paper Mario, revealing tons of info about the game’s development and hidden easter eggs. For example, did you know that the game was originally referred to as Super Mario RPG 2, and was meant to be a sequel to The Legend of the Seven Stars? Did you know that the game was intended for the Nintendo 64 disc drive, or that the game hints at the development of Luigi’s Mansion for the GameCube? If you answered “no” to any of these, you’ll definitely want to check out the video below.

Nah, we get too many re-releases. A sequel is what we need. We haven’t gotten a Paper Mario this generation, maybe we will in 2016?

Yes! It boggles my mind how Nintendo has virtual console games from every one of their consoles except the gamecube. I would buy VC gamecube games in a heartbeat!
