A new Japanese trailer has been released that shows off the 3DS Virtual Console ports of Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. If your nostalgic heartstrings haven’t gotten pulled enough since the games were announced, check out the video below. Although Green version is staying exclusive to Japan, the world can expect to see these classics hit the eShop on February 27th, exactly 20 years after the release of Pokemon Red.
Remember I used to have all of these on one of those 30 in 1 cartridges lol good times

I grew up with red, but I think I’m gonna download Blue instead this time around :p
It’s nothing personal, other than the differences in a few Pokes, there’s not much difference. I’ve never been a big fan of the color red. And I always liked Blue\Gary more than Red\Ash. Just little personal preferences. : ). But do it! Since I started blue maybe I’ll do the opposite of you and get Red :p.
Yellow is a must play.
I always hated the way they distributed the pokemons around the world, the best ones at the very end (Scyther, Growlithe and such…) and caves and grass were filled by Rattatas and Zubats. That’s why I love Pokemon X/Y, they did a much better job on that area.
There is nothing bad about Zubat. Only plebs hate ’em.
Oh shut up, they were 150 pokemon to only have zubats showing up on each freaking cave, i don’t have Zubat, i am talking about how repetitive was. I actually used Rattata on my team and evolved Zubat to Crobat.
It was a design choice, because bats generally live in caves. And in those caves were a variety of Pokemon besides Zubat so you really shouldn’t be complaining.
I think is was lack of memory too. If the carts had more space, a good number of 2nd Gen Pokémon would have been included as well since they had a lot done before Gold and Silver began development

There was a variety. You’re ignoring plenty of other Pokemon that show up in caves.

Compared to the variety of Pokemon in every route that aren’t repeats, yes.
One of my best Pokémon in Silver Version was a Crobat <3 Still one of my favorite pokemon
