Footage of the Wii U version of Terraria was posted on YouTube today. It is some of the first footage of the game seen on the console. The footage contains commentary with Dean Scott of 505 Games, who elaborates more on what this version of the game will do. They also show off the touch screen interface that the Wii U GamePad will use for Terraria.
Terraria will release on the Nintendo Wii U in the first quarter of 2016.
That’s a pretty damn good port
Minecraft should learn a thing or two about how to port itself to the Wii U from Terraria, I mean this game has the gamepad in use a majority of the time, but what about Minecraft? :P

I was just at Hastings earlier today looking at the PS3 version of Terraria and wondering “I wonder if this is still coming to Wii U”? And now, I see this post. Great to know it’s still on the way. I’m definitely buying this when it comes out.
