Japanese commercials for the upcoming Pokemon-Tekken hybrid have started making their rounds, and they’re surprisingly tame. Although one includes a bald Japanese man with a pair of Machamp arms, the ads aren’t too different from what we’ve seen in North America, as both primarily focus on the action-packed gameplay. You can find two of the Japanese commercials below. Pokken Tournament launches exclusively for the Wii U, worldwide on March 18th.

“Although one includes a bald Japanese man with a pair of Machamp arms” That’s Abareru-kun, son! You best respect! (He’s one of the hosts of the Pokemon variety show “Pokenchi”. His shtick is either dressing up as a different Pokemon each week or doing some real-world activity that can relate to Pokemon fighting moves.)
lol, okay then.
Bandai-Namco & The Pokémon Company are really hyping up Pokkén Tournament for Wii U at launch worldwide! I want that game!
“and their surprisingly tame”… 😮
First one: Too normal
Second one: There we go!
