Japan: Next Splatfest Is Dragon Quest Themed

Nintendo Japan has confirmed that the next Japanese Splatfest will take place on March 12th and will be themed around the hugely popular Dragon Quest franchise. The theme question is the following: “What is your approach to Dragon Quest games? Do you go All Guns Blazing, or are you Cautious?” Here’s the times for the Japanese Splatfest.

            1. lol yes I know that too, it just seems kind of far fetched to think this signifies that it has anything to do with the FF7 remake, if anything cloud in smash is the biggest tell. I think this is just simply due to the popularity of dragon quest in Japan, I wish it was just as popular in the US. I’d rather this be a hint to validate the rumor that the DQX MMO will be ported to the NX, but I guess that still doesn’t guarantee we would get it here in the US :(
Either way, GO TEAM HEALIE ^^

    1. My strategy in Splatoon battles depends on the makeup of the opposing team. Dynamo Roller players, I try to stay faaaaaar away from because those things, for some reason, have the range of a Squiffer and can kill in one hit from any part of the ink fling (in other words, OP). If I notice 3 of the 4 opponents use chargers, I’m gonna sneak up on them and get in their faces where they’re almost helpless. Really helps to have at least a slight idea in mind after the 2 second glimpse you get of the rival team.

  1. The next American Splatoon should be Anime(Callie’s team)vs. Cartoons (Marie’s team). The clothing for team cartoon should be pajama bottoms and sneakers with splatfest T-shirt and sleeping masks on the forehead. Team Anime’s clothing would be up to the makers of splatfest.( just a thought but Marie’s hair should be let down)
