Nintendo has reconfirmed that My Nintendo which is the new Club Nintendo replacement will go live on Thursday, March 17th in Japan. The service was always supposed to tie in with the launch of mobile title Miitomo which also launches on Thursday, March 17th. Any purchases made in the eShop after 17 Mar 00:00 (Japanese time) will be redeemable in the new reward scheme. Nintendo has yet to confirm when Miitomo and My Nintendo will launch here in the west.
