US: Metroid Prime Federation Force Launches August 19th

While it may have divided consumer opinion, Nintendo of America has announced today that Metroid Prime Federation Force will be launching on August 19th. The news was revealed in a recent press release detailing Nintendo’s plans for PAX East in Boston. Now all we’ve got to do is wait for a European release date. Here’s what Nintendo had to say!

The sci-fi shooter that finds a squad of up to four players working together to combat space pirates launches exclusively for Nintendo 3DS on Aug. 19.

  2. If this game didn’t have “Metroid” in the title, I really woudn’t be bothered by it. That said, the Metroid name carries certain expectations and the lack of a new title in the series doesn’t help matters. Just look at the number of dislikes videos from this game get on Youtube. This game is going to crash and burn and fade into obscurity within a few days. GG

    1. Well those certain expectations just got shitted on and people will have to wait for the new game and who knows what this game will do you negative shit eating troll bevause newcomers can be introduced to the series and like this game and unlike 90 or more percent of people on this website i will at least try the game

  3. I hope there are cataclysmic thunderstorms on this day- that would be fitting for a day that the second travesty of the Metroid series releases.

Also, I now know that this is a day I will not be leaving my house.
