  1. 10 at the top, 1 at the bottom

    Conker’s Bad Fur Day (N64/Xbox 360)

    Ape Escape (PS1)

    Ratchet and Clank (PS4)

    Crash 3: Warped (PS1)

    Spyro (PS1)

    Psychonauts (PC/Xbox/PS2/PS4)

    Jak 3 (PS2/PS3/PS Vita)

    Rayman 2 (PC/N64/PS1/PS2/Dreamcast)

    Banjo Kazooie (N64/Xbox 360)

    Super Mario Galaxy (Wii/Wii U)

    1. Thanks for posting that. Didn’t feel like watching the video.

Glad to see Banjo on there. That game has aged very well. There are some questionable other choices… but it’s not my list so I won’t complain.

  2. Man this is a boring list. I feel like I have seen it a million times already. The collective mind should move on to “what are the best [in this case plattformers] right now” and not what “had the biggest impact back in its time.”
A lot of this stuff has not aged well, I replayed a lot of old platformers that I missed and I was happy if it was still okay and not just right out bad or boring.
Even Mario64 is rage inducing if you play it today. Recently got 120Stars again and oh boy there was a lot of disappointment in replaying. If you are not a speedrunner, go with the updated DS version.

Although there might also be a problem that 3D Jump n Runs are almost dead since the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox age and Mario Galaxy1+2+Mario 3DWorld would always fill 3 places which isnt all that exciting either. Probably a bad genre for best of lists atm.
