A Pokémon Sun And Moon Exclusive Scoop Is Coming In June’s CoroCoro Issue

The CoroCoro magazine has released its May issue and some details are already surfacing online. Although the issue didn’t contain any new details on Pokemon Sun & Moon, the issue includes a mention that an “exclusive scoop” on Pokemon Sun & Moon will be in June’s issue. The magazine went on to dub itself the “Pokémon main source” for news. Feel free to let us know in the comments what you think the “exclusive scoop” will be.

    1. That’s because Pokemon isn’t exciting anymore for veteran fans. It’s so derivative…yet people still buy all the games. I skipped Diamond/Pearl, that was a nice break. I decided ORAS was my last Pokemon game forever, unless they dramatically change the formula.

      1. I haven’t played a game since black; or did I have white? Before that, the last one I played was ruby and I never even finished it. Anyway I was thinking of picking up this new generation. The visuals have finally changed with x and y and I want to get some of the older games and try to complete the pokedex. This new game will put us at like 800.

        1. B2/W2 was so well done that it’s hard for me to get into any of the other games. My favorite for the longest was Ruby/Sapphire until B2/W2. Unless they release another game with oodles of content (like B2/W2), I just can’t justify throwing my money away.

          1. I had considered getting Black/White 2 but for some reason never got around to it. Maybe I should pick it up. Does the save file from the first ones somehow carry over?

      2. I can see why Pokemon isn’t changing. There aren’t that many original ideas out there anymore, and Nintendo has thing where if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. So many people have started hating on Nintendo because they change things in a game. Take Paper Mario for example: used to be everyone’s favorite game, and now everyone hates it because they changed up what it was originally. Nintendo and Gamefreak don’t want the same to happen to Pokemon.

        1. For a long time now I’ve felt that the reason Pokemon doesn’t change and still sells is because as each new generation comes out, a new generation of kids is ready to get into it. You still have your long time fans and veterans, but the series is pretty much in a constant state of fan renewal.

          1. That’s a really good point. They should make a new spinoff that is specifically targeted to veterans. Maybe that is what Pokken was supposed to be.
