A number of sites are reporting that The Legend of Zelda Wii U will have two playable demos at next month’s E3 event in Los Angeles. Press are apparently being told to set aside 90 minutes in an effort to make the most of the gameplay on offer. The Legend of Zelda Wii U is the only Nintendo title at this year’s E3 and if you’re unable to attend the event there will be a limited number of spaces to try out the game at the Nintendo NY Store.
Nintendo is informing media that there will be two extended demos of the Wii U version to play at the booth and are being asked to set aside 90 minutes to make the most of the gameplay.

So a total of 3h of demo? Either the game is really big to allow that, or they’re gonna be simply revealing specific moments in the game. I hope for the former, considering the delay we’ve been going through so far.
I’d be up to see 3h of side-questing.
I took it as meaning 90 total minutes of gameplay. Either way, I just want to see something.
honoustly I just want to get a name for the thing so I can stop seeing zelda U and such
I wish I had the self control to not watch anything about this game before getting to buy it. But alas, I will watch it all.
Me too, I don’t want to be spoiled, bit there’s no way im not gonna watch all of this, and then all GameXplains indepth analysis, and discussions, and everything! I must watch it all!!!
Same here, Caped Crusader. Even though it’s gonna be Nintendo’s final Wii U title, this new Zelda title is gonna be both legendary and larger than life. I’m looking forward to the new Legend of Zelda title for both the U and “NX”.
Yup! Although i love my Wii U, I’m gonna be picking Zelda up on the NX, because i want the superior version which should be the NX version.
CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS GAME IN ACTION!! ZELDA FANS UNITE!!⚠️ (Closes thing i could find to a Triforce emoji)
As much as I love the Zelda franchise, and this is my most favorite game series aside from Metroid, Legend of Dragoon, Breath of Fire, and every game Treaure ever made, I’m gonna keep my hype for this Zelda game very low! The last thing I want to experience is a twice to three times delayed game, only to say “They delayed this game multiple times, and it’s still not what I hoped for!”
The way Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have been dealing with consoles it’s no wonder why everyone is jumping to mobile or PC! I don’t want consoles to disappear, but the way they are releasing new versions of their recently released consoles, it’s cheaper to build a damn pc that allows the owners to play every game ever released on pc, thus making pc the better and more reasonable platform to play on, and I don’t have to worry about backwards compatibility on pc, which these console creators are now doing away with!
A good pc cost the same as 4 PS4, so if a new console comes every 3 year, you will have a console in 12-14 years, it’s a longer time than you will have your high new pc before it get to old to play games (Sorry about my english, i m danish, i hope you understand)
That is not true. PC gaming is not as expensive as you think. Plus, the games are cheaper.
My library of pc games will still work on any pc built from 12-14 years from now, which consoles aren’t doing at all, pc cost less than consoles when it comes to building a quality based version, and new games with dlc go on sale almost every week for dirt cheap, sometimes in bundles, and these are newly released titles, where as old games cost damn near nothing.
The only reason consoles were ever truly preferred over pc in the past was because of their simplicity of access, but with this ps4k, sb scorpio, and god only knows what kind of gimmicky monstrosity nintendo will release, there are zero reasons to actually play or even own consoles except for the exclusives, which really aren’t that many anymore outside of nintendo! Even nintendo seem to be lacking in that department as of late.
I thought there was an age limit for porn? ;)
there is an age limit to play Games? D:
After the Twilight Princess incident, I should also not get too hyped for this new Zelda game because it could end up being “Damn it! This isn’t as great as I was hoping it would be!”
Twilight Princess Incident?
Twilight Princess went through so many delays that it got people like me hyped up into thinking when it finally released that it would be this great, awesome Zelda game to put Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, AND Wind Waker to shame as it would be better than all three of them combined. Sadly, it never happened that way.
Because it came out on the wii. XD
The HD version fixed all that.
I.E. A little bit. Plus it’s never a bad thing to go back and remember the games that suck ass and still have fun with them and junk.
I can’t say the same for Paper Mario: Color Splash and Sticker Star. LOL
Comparing the HD remake to the fan made HD version, yes the nintendo HD remake was a complete let down, especially if someone just recently got finished playing The Wind Waker HD and was expecting the same, or at the very least something near that, level of work! Now I’m aware that a 3rd party made the TP HD remake on the wiiu, but they could have at least done a better job than the fan made hd remake, and this is one of the reasons why I call these game devs lazy! If you have modders, who aren’t even getting paid to do this level of work, remaking these games with much better quality like the fan made TP, the modding community for every Bethesda game, or that now canceled resident evil 2 fanmade project, you have to begin to wonder as to how much work in quality do these companies actually put into their games when compared to work done by amatures!?
I was talking about the original Twilight Princess (see comment to Parachan above.) But you do have a point. It’s sad when amateurs make better stuff than companies with a lot more money & way better technology.
Fingers crossed so that Nintendo will put those in the e-shop!
don’t bother

BURN!
I’ve been losing respect for Nintendo lately with all of their horrible decisions they’ve been making. And not putting a playable demo of Zelda on the eShop so that EVERYONE can experience it is yet another dumb decision. That is, IF they don’t do that.
After all the delays, it would be nice to get the demos on eShop. It won’t happen, but it would be a nice peace offering. And all these years of Nintendo and their Digital Direct you’d think that digital demos would be next
