Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King already released last year in Japan!? Wait. I shouldn’t be surprised by this since it is a Square Enix game. Their 3DS games always take a year or more before leaving Japan & going everywhere else. Case in point: Bravely Default (an extreme case as it took 2-3 years for it that we got an updated version of the game instead of the original) & Bravely Second.
And Nintendo dominated Japan!? What a shocker! /s If Nintendo was getting their asses kicked in Japan, as they do in the rest of the world most of the time, I’d definitely be worried for Nintendo. Til the day comes they are in a distant 2nd or in 3rd place in Japan a full year, Nintendo is doing just fine as a whole. Not great, not good. Just fine. Hopefully NX will be a return to greatness. Heh… Greatness Awaits… That tag line would fit Nintendo more than it does Sony for some of us here.
