The upcoming title for the Wii U, Paper Mario Colour Splash, is less than a month away from release, and YouTuber AbdallahSmash026 has uploaded four new videos of the game’s footage for you to get a preview ahead of its launch.

I have been defending this game pretty drastically at times, but honestly I don’t really like the extravagant cut scene card attacks. It looks like it takes all element of strategy out of the battles and you just fling random cards at will. Not impressed, this game just dropped a few points off my might-get-O-meter. Still looks nice though.

Not different enough. Both are still in the same vein of drifting further away from the stuff that got people like me into Paper Mario to begin with. I’ll just stick with the original & The Thousand-Year Door, if we ever get GCN virtual console some day.
