Masaru Hamaguchi, of comic duo Yoiko, has appeared in a recent Nintendo video showcasing 40 minutes worth of footage from the highly anticipated Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Hamaguchi is dropped into the start of the demo and plays it all the way through to the battle with the Iwarock rock creature. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is coming to the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch in 2017.

    Whenever I see someone play with the big lump wii u im glad I didnt buy it! Just port all the wii u games, scaled and 60fps to the Switch and im happy!

    1. Sorry, there are those who pre-ordered the Wii U version. So, you may want it cancelled for Wii U, but it’s already coming to the Switch, ya pansy. It’ll be a dual release on both, like Twilight Princess was when the Wii came out.

    1. I’m getting the WiiU version, and I’ll order the Switch Version if it comes with any collectibles. But I’m not buying the switch system for a while. I think the WiiU version Looks great. No need to wait for a Switch Release. There is no guarantee that they will launch at the same time anyway.

      1. Yeah. I still have my BotW Wii U preorder locked in on Amazon. The longer I wait and play my Wii U, the more I want BotW to be in my Wii U library. There’s still a ton of games on Wii U and the eShop left for me to play. I’ll probably wait until a price drop to get Switch.

        1. Yep. My plan is the same. I want to finish X and Bayonetta 2. As well as BotW. I’ll also have the New Mass Effect by then. So I’m counting on not having too much trouble waiting for a price drop as well. It will likely happen by the holidays after launch. Some Retailer will have a sale, or at least throw in agame or two as a bundle.

          1. }{ Not at all, Zelda is my second favorite game series in general, beaten only by Fire Emblem. I’m merely concerned for the direction this new game is taking, more specifically, that the overworld might be a whole lot of nothing… }{
