Nintendo Has Filed A Trademark For “Wave Race” In Europe

It could well be time to get excited as Nintendo has filed a trademark for its beloved action sports series Wave Race in Europe. It could be nothing, but with the upcoming Nintendo Switch presentation happening in January could we possibly get a glimpse of a new entry in the super-fun series?

            1. Oh really? I just took a screen shot from a video and made it my avatar. Did you Google search my picture or what?

  1. }{ While I understand this was a pretty good game in its time, I think this is another case of Nintendo giving people something nobody was really asking for… Assuming it’s a new game, there are so many franchises they’d be better off focusing on… like Metroid… }{

  2. As someone who still enjoys playing Wave Race on the GameCube and had a chance to play on N64, I would love to see this franchise #maketheSwitch! But I feel the trademark is related to the VC not a new game. BUT COME ON NINTENBROS PROVE ME WRONG!!

  3. If it’s at all possible, I’d love it if someone got the rights to remake Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs from the N64. I’d love to see an improvement on the base building aspect of that game. Maybe a longer story, too! Oooh! Oooh! Remake Eternal Darkness with better graphics along with Baten Kaitos 1 & 2, as well! Whoever has the rights to these games need to do something with the damn titles! If not, sell them to people that WILL use them!
