Check Out The Impressive Majora’s Mask Terrible Fate Short CGI Film

Ember Lab have produced an impressive short CGI movie based on the beloved The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask for the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo 3DS. The video is described as a labour of love from all involved and focusses on the Skull Kid’s dark origin story. It is extremely well done so I’d highly recommend checking it out if you’ve a spare 4 minutes.

  1. Dam that was amazing!! Wish they would have shown link that video was just too beautiful to watch. Maybe in ten years we can get Nintendo to make something like this

  2. I would probably cringe to death if Nintendo ever tried to make a real movie like this. I love the games, but something tells me we should keep them there.

  3. *jaw drop* Oh. My. Fucking. Awesome. God! @.@ That was freaking awesome! I got fucking chills from the campfire scenes! Aside from the fairies looking like wooden balls with wings attached, I give this video 2 thumbs up! The wait for this video was well worth it. These guys should talk to Nintendo & see if they can turn this into a full fledged CGI movie. Otherwise, we know exactly what will happen if they do it without Nintendo’s backing no matter how good the final product is or how many people liked & supported it.

    1. Oh & loved the fact the video wasn’t 100% CGI as those woods had to have been an actual forest. Or at least a small park somewhere! If that shit was CGI by some chance, god damn! This video, though 4 minutes long, must have been very expensive. O.O

      1. check the behind the scenes clip on youtube, the characters are CGI not the background, the great thing is that you could not even tell the diference! it is an amazing job!

        1. Then I return back to my original statement about loving how it’s not 100% CGI. I love CGI but it’s nice to see practical effects & real backgrounds thrown into the mix. Exactly why I loved The Force Awakens. The thought of stop motion being a thing of the past is depressing as hell for me since I loved movies like Child’s Play, Demonic Toys, Puppetmaster, etc or shows like Robot Chicken. Speaking of, I wish someone would revive Celebrity Death Match!
